  1. QF 4th Vs 7th QF 5th Vs 6th SF 2nd Vs QF winner SF 3rd Vs QF winner Final - highest ranked at home
  2. At Milan, doesn't play all that often.
  3. Noble was quality even just a few years ago in the National League for Hartlepool. Surprised he's dropped down as far as 8th tier.
  4. Last time it happened: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006–07_Serie_B
  5. If it was Serie B then it would be very close to being 3 up and no play offs. If 3rd is ahead of 4th by 10 points or more. That said I don't have huge sympathy for the 3 that have come down. They have enormous financial advantages over rest of the league, which they have leveraged further.
  6. They've only got 3 teams left and England have 5, and are only marginally ahead. Current odds would have England about a 70% chance of getting it, Germany 30%.
  7. Old Firm games are always so fun. Just wish they still had the away ends.
  8. Yeah it was perhaps the season before, when they had White and Dunk. White had gone by then and Cucurella was at left back. But he has certainly played more or less both positions equally at Brighton. The idea it's some crazy idea to play him there is a nonsense (even though I also prefer him centrally).
  9. Burn played pretty much half his football at Brighton as a left back, even sometimes left wing back. I mean he was their starting left back when we actually signed him. It is not a wild experiment to play him there.
  10. I find top level football so much duller than I did 5 years ago. It's absolute rubbish.
  11. Yeah I think Alnwick are the only ones up there that have the facilities for promotion. Shame as would be fun to see Wallington into the NL.
  12. His off the ball discipline is obviously something we've been worried about but on the ball he's got loads of quality and I think he's shown that pretty much every time he's played.
  13. Well yeah. Maybe he knows more than most to comment for that exact reason?
  14. Not sure why Krafth got a new contract. Absolute charity case.
  15. I'd attribute a decent amount of blame for both goals. You just don't think he's going to save anything most of the time.
  16. It's been a pretty even and open game tbh. Our defense has just been disjointed while they've had some good individual performances at the back. The Lascelles injury threw us all over the place as you'd expect having to rearrange things. That's probably the biggest difference maker - Krafth at fault for both goals.
  17. Yeah it's one of those ones where I'm not sure people realise that some of the Northern trains actually continue through NCL after the Tyne Valley. They are practically different routes like in that they more or less completely empty out in Central and refill again with those heading south. Similarly I used to commute from Prudhoe to Morpeth direct by train. It was long but actually weirdly convenient and easy. I was always the only one who stayed on both before and after NCL so used to always get my ticket checked twice.
  18. never been in TBF. But going there you shouldn't have an issue with changeover. Then maybe just stay in the ground's bar a bit after full time to kill before timing the train back. Get the Pop App for the live times. It never runs to timetable at the moment but the live times are usually accurate so fine if you know how far a walk it is.
  19. What about direct train Hexham to Heworth and switch onto Metro there? The Metro is only off to Heworth - so I believe should still be running from there. It's even an easier interchange than Central. If you have a bit of time to kill between changes there's The Swan just opposite.
