Just watched the whole match again. I knew we'd played well but I didn't realise at the time just how well - maybe because I spent most of the match nervous as fuck. The goals may have been route one but we actually played some brilliant stuff. Work rate was superb, excellent pressing and the crispness of passing that wasn't to be seen at Anfield.

Very underrated return to the team. Been quietly fantastic.

Much prefer him in midfield to defence. He's not worldbeater but I think he's a reasonably competent player there.

Says he's trying to get fit to be available for Olympic selection.
