  1. Blatantly a fix to make it seem like the CL for them.

I was at Forest and Derby. My away selections that season were shocking, considering how dominant we were. Seen draws at WBA, Barnsley and Sheff Wed and the loss to Peterborough in the cup too. Think the only win was Doncaster.

  4. mattspiro Matt Spiro Newcastle set to sign the next Samir Nasri, 15 yr-old Sofiane Elbekri of Lens, say L'Equipe, who also claim #NUFC back in for Aly Cissokho

For me, we need two defenders. Of course that is FAR too expensive and too much to ask for.
  6. He did get an assist though Class pass to Ben Arfa at Everton
  7. I liked him while he was here and thought that he should have been given more of a chance. He's scored like 1 goal in over 100 top flight games, and that was one that deflected off him. He's coming up for 27 and has done absolutely fuck all in the Premier League. He's had enough chances.
  8. Routledge has become massively overrated on here since he left like. Particularly by Ronaldo.

Nah, he's of Maori descent I think.
  10. Playing him on the wrong flank might be the ultimate reason IMO. N'Zogbia has always been a direct, selfish, one-good-game-in-five type player and he flourished last season because Martinez basically let him cut inside and do what he wanted. I think it might be that he'll never be able to play in different systems and maybe this is why he can't get in the France side. I'd have still loved him back.
  11. The correct course of action would have been to kick him in the cock and instead buy your windows off an actual human.

Actually hope we sign him just to piss Allardyce off.
  13. Nah you haven't completely, you make a good point about Obertan.
  14. Tbf we've clearly landed on our feet with that one, touch wood. It's a mixed bag with our transfer policy, who knows how good our side would have looked if we'd spent a bit of money rather than going cheap with Obertan. Actually I'm just proving your fucking point here about there being better value aren't I Sewelly, you absolute bastard. Yeah, clearly we're gonna get some stinkers. Then again I (and the club, apparently) wanted N'Zogbia who cost 3 times as much and he's been about as good as Obertan by all accounts. My main gripe with not spending is leaving us with such a thin squad.
  15. He'd clearly be an upgrade on Best/Ameobi/Lovenkrands and would walk into our current team, but so would a lot of other players - probably including the guy joining Jan 1st.
  16. Christ. He's good, but I really don't think he's what they need. Don't think he's worth that either, but Portuguese clubs do get damn good fees for their exports.
  17. How many Premiership games has Routledge played without scoring? Bet he puts one in at the weekend.
  18. Aye it was me, and that's definitely where I stand. I loved him during that spell and even made that Youtube video but now I just look at him objectively as any potential transfer target and frankly there's better options. We got a better striker for free ffs.
  19. It's not a difficult question for me. Even say £15 million could solve about 4 positions in our squad. Honestly think based on the loss of momentum in his career, the pressure to win back the fans if he came back etc that anything over £10 million would be a risk for him. Even more of a risk than buying some random foreign player.
