I'll probably be proven completely wrong but I think Arsenal are one of the best opponents from Barcelona. They don't have a resolute defence and everything they do well, Barcelona do much better.

Yup. I'd love it if we started next season with another top class CB alongside Colo. Colo, (?), Williamson and Taylor is a decent four CBs to have IMO

When Taylor was last in the team he only ever gave it short to Tiote or another midfielder. He's much less hot heated than he was. I'd keep Williamson and Colo as a partnership as they are doing well but I still think there's more to come from Taylor he's never really played in a settled team with a the same manager for more than about a year! Last few games though, Williamson has been getting better and better.

Why did he bother saying he wanted to stay then? At least Bassong had the balls to thank the club and say he wanted to move.

I seem to remember Saylor being our best player in the last 3rd of that season tbh. Don't be fooled by his wannabe John Terry performances He was decent, especially at RB. Obviously he'll be blamed for every other players woes in the squad at the time. Both had a shit midfield in front of them both made individual errors but Taylor gets blamed, even for Coloccini's mistakes.

It's probably Keegan-esque...but I wished he attacked a bit more I reckon he'd end the season with a decent tally of goals.

To blame the rest of the defence is a bit much. They all suffered from having a bad midfield in front of them and all made individual errors, including Coloccini. Coloccini started the season well and got worse as it went on. Probably down to a number of factors including a rubbish midfield and teammates lacking confidence (which rubbed off on others, including Colo in the end) and not playing in a settled team with the same manager (which Taylor, Bassong etc. all suffered from as well). I remember saying ages ago that Evra and Vidic took a season to settle in and so Colo should get at least the same, I've also had a go at him which may have been justified maybe not, probably more of a heat of the moment thing. He's now proved his worth though and there's no reason why he can't get better considering he's entering his prime now.
