Agreed. He simply doesn't have the attributes of a good centre midfielder. Not a great passing range, not a great tackler, positional sense isn't the best, poor disciplinary record, doesn't make up for his failings in goals i.e Nolan. Nothing about him really. Sure he can run around like a headless chicken all day and put in some hard graft but that alone just isnt good enough for the Premier league. He's a poor mans Robbie Savage. He's always been a tad over rated imo, not especially good at holding the ball up and didn't really score that many goals, that horrific injury set him back loads like, dont think he's ever truly recovered from it. Aye, he's been finished since the leg break and we've been paying him £50k+/week for much of the time since.

I reckon I'm going to put on the following: Man U / Bolton / Newcastle / Leeds / Barcelona - £6 returns £31.40. Cardiff / Forest / Millwall / Norwich / Dundee / Queen of the South - £4 returns £73.49. Gonna hoy a pound each on Newcastle 5-0 and Newcastle 5-1 (both 50/1). Also I've got a £5 free bet burning a hole in my pocket and might whack it on Newcastle 4-1 at 22/1.

Looks good Ronaldo - Man City +1 is pretty bold to say the least though.
-
Aye, sexy odds innit.
-
Went for Kuyt and Lopez in Liverpool game, and Murphy and Zamora in Fulham game. Not really confident about any of them but they were the only odds I liked.
-
Might whack a couple of quid on Liverpool and Fulham since it's 12/1. Edit: also might put a FGS bet on, as I've been right the last 2 days with Pedro and Robben.

That would make more sense like, if he was arrested at the actual test centre. Aye, otherwise they wouldn't have much of a case Police - "We believe you were going to get someone else to do your practical test for you" N'Zogbia - "Err you arrested me at the test centre..." Police - "Oh yeahh..." You've been N'Zogbia'ed. That was my first thought as well like tbh.

I know two twins that did it with success. Sure you're not getting muddled up? Sounds like a plot from Sister Sister.

I used to work for the DSA and I've never heard of owt like this like.

Scab! FWIW I didn't buy anything!! I was taking the piss - I meant Taylor was a scab.

I'm on a canny little run atm like. As you'll have gathered I'm absolutely wank at betting but I set up a SkyBet account about a week ago with a £20 deposit and the balance stands at about £105 now. Will have to be careful not to fritter it away like I did with my bet365 account.

A couple of quid on Robben FGS at 5/1.

How do you explain this then? http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/08/22/article-1208336-06250087000005DC-866_468x630.jpg 22nd August 2009, Selhurst Park. He'd just scored a screamer n'all.

Don't really fancy owt tonight. Was considering a Bayern/Hull-Villa draw double at 9/2 but I'm not confident enough with it to make it worth my while.

I think I'm going to put £5-10 on Wilsa Krakow, Ruch Chorzow (both Polish league) and Debrecan (Hungarian league): 12/5. They're 17.45 and 18.00 kick-offs and look very promising going by the league tables, although I know fuck-all about either league. Ended up whacking a tenner on the above, £34 return. Ruch Chorzow put me through the mill like, they were 2-1 down to the bottom side after 83 minutes! Put £2 on a draw double (Scunthorpe-Reading / Inter-Barca) at 10/1. Also did a few FGS bets on Inter-Barca (Eto'o, Pandev, Sneijder and Pedro). Woo mint, Pedro scores, that was 8/1.

It's really well written, very funny.

Absolutely delighted. Fair play to the lads and Hughton in particular - I held little faith before the season kicked off but they've convinced me more and more as the season's gone on. It was a few of the scrappy away wins before Christmas that made me think we could do it. Well done players, staff and fans - let's kick on from here and get some more of our pride back.
