Whitley Bay's first goal was the fastest ever at the new Wembley (21 seconds) and although the first half was a bit dull, the gaps started opening in the second half and they absolutely hammered them in the end. Well played lads. Dafty of the day goes to the gadgie behind me who was on the phone a lot of the match giving goal updates and on the attendance he said "aye it's canny full like - probably about a third full". Well I think there's something to be said for it being a bit cheaper, or a handful of games being on terrestrial telly. I haven't had a hope in hell of being able to afford it since moving down South after graduating, but maybe I'll be able to stretch to it now I've got a better job. From a business point of view, if they could double their audiences by making it a bit more affordable then surely the increased advertising revenue would help make up the shortfall, would it not?
