  2. Fuckkkk, Lawro is still a thing. Already done a shit joke.
  3. Fucking hell, Egypt must have some class players if Salah can only make the bench.
  4. Any explanation from the club on this? Nar? Shocked.
  5. Using some very basic maths, an extra £100 x 50,000 would bring in an extra £5m. Seems completely and utterly pointless given the size of our other revenue streams.
  6. SSN saying Atletico have agreed fee for Lemar from Monaco, presumably means Griezmann is definitely off? Would be quite surprised if they manage to get him ahead of the English clubs that were apparently interested and doubtess willing to throw loads of money at it.
  7. At the moment? More so than usual I guess. Years TV money with another to come guaranteed, best manager we've possibly ever had willing to stay... Lets do then guyz? Nah fuck that.
  8. It's weird how quickly they get these "over the line" though, we must be really unlucky.
  9. We're already ahead of them despite playing 42 less games.
  10. They won the league cup during that time. True but the point still stands, I certainly wouldn't swap our Keegan/Robson eras for a League Cup.

    New TV Deal

We'd outsource it to Sports Direct.
  12. Too old though, no re-sale value.
  13. There will have been a lot of jealousy there from the Villa fans who gloated. I know they were far more successful than us in the 80s etc but we had the whole country talking about us at times in the 90s and 00s while they were a bit of a dull irrelevance.

Amazon don't give much of a shit about profit, do they? And they could make the money back from ads if they wanted to.

    New TV Deal

How much did Amazon end up paying for it? There was talk it was heavily discounted after being unsold the first time?
  16. Have Chelsea stagger the payments over 5 years and give us first option on one loan player per season and that's a big part of our "transfer policy" sorted for the foreseeable future. Goes without saying that we cannot and should not let him go as he's our most important player by some distance. If we were building something (lol) we'd want to keep ahold of him for at least the next 1 or 2 seasons and prove he can go some way to fulfilling his ambitions here. As we're a club who actively limits their own potential we know where this is headed though.
  17. Would be a canny move for both parties that IMO, Liverpool desperately need some depth in forward positions and he'd probably be happy enough being a squad player there.
