  1. Eh, you left Shaw in? He's injured for a little while isn't he? I transferred Shaw out, left Gabriel in but the latter is on v thin ice.
  2. Very frustrating game. They're still levels above us and can control the majority of a game like that when they want to. A few sporadic spells where we looked OK first half, and a decent period of about 5-10 minutes in the second. Man City appeared to actively decide to play keep-ball for the remainder at that stage, and we couldn't get the ball back off them. Think we can be flattered by how conservative they were with the ball, they were very risk averse tonight. And might sound daft when you've just been dominated but I'd far rather watch us every week than them. Find them a really dull watch on the whole.
  3. Aye I'm a bit tetchy not having Salah for that fixture. Although I'm sure that 9-0 he had no goal involvements, or 1 assist at best? Was a freak occurrence though. Leaving my side as it is and waiting to watch everything level out a bit. Gusto might be a good shout in for Colwill if he's going to play in James's absence. Will see if that happens this weekend.

    Lewis Hall

Really happy with this signing as well. Happy with all of them. Our squad looks much better now. I sort of wish Hall was a right back and Livramento a left back as that would address our squad needs more with the ages of them, but that's obviously not how it works. We're picking up players high up on our list when they're available and I'm more than happy with that.
  5. I think the video is worse Hate all the snivelling little journalists laughing at something that is very unfunny as well
  6. He's so on my fucking list now, this cunt.
  7. Fair enough, I do know first hand they were v unhappy with the service O2 were providing for them as a reseller for a long while anyway though.
  8. O2 have had issues nationwide for a while, I know Sky Mobile use them and are not at all happy with the service their customers have been getting. I'm on Giffgaff and have had crap reception for ages as well.
  9. I'd like to think we looked at Harrison extensively, then our ambitions were fast-forwarded so he slipped down the list. Barnes wasn't possible at first, then he was. Think that's less the case with Diaby where we were probably most put off by the fee. Still delighted with Barnes mind, think he'll be ace for us.
  10. Klopp with a woe-is-me laugh at the decision going against him. Fuck off. Also the relatively mild applause at Stamford Bridge when something positive happens, including a home goal, really fucking winds me up. Shit club.
  11. See. He wishes he was fucking bald.
  12. Not too fussed by that, everyone's got him Colwill will come in for me, or Beyer for a 1 pointer. Edit - oh fuck he's on the bench. Fuckin Arteta going to copy his hero and bring him on for a 1 pointer no doubt.
  13. eh?! It's rounder than £111m, innit. Nearest 5 and that
  14. Got an old ep of WILTY on in the background, had never seen this
  15. The latest I heard was Brighton were insisting Chelsea matched Liverpool's bid if they still wanted him. Maybe Brighton are asking for more again but Chelsea are so fucking daft they've potentially just decided they prefer round numbers.
  16. Have they bid a completely unnecessary extra £4m? Wouldn't be surprised.
  17. Hmm yeah true, I just remember passing the armband a lot before Haaland. Captaincy choice used to be one of the biggest differentiators between players and now it's basically a non-factor most gameweeks. Even tough City fixtures last season I was just leaving it on him as the least risky bet.
  18. Haaland has ruined this game like There'll be dead teams that lose interest after 1 gameweek who will outperform active players fannying about taking their captaincy off him.
  19. Aye I fucked it all up Doc, she was ringing Everton and bickering with her husband. I've already been shamed for this.
  20. This is where I'm at. It's not mindblowingly brilliant stuff versus similar content I've seen but it's a subject matter I'm obsessed with and I enjoyed the first ep. I'd much rather it exists than it doesn't. The main bit that can get in the Tyne for me is the overly emotive cheesy music that pops up occasionally Other than that I'm all good.
  21. Would be such a different game without Pep Roulette Not touching anyone but Haaland you bald fucker.
  22. Fair enough, I mean I would have much preferred to see that yeah - I don't know if it's 100% necessary though.
  23. Shearer said on the voiceover we'd gone through 2 relegations and 10 managers under the previous owner. But yes that was about it re context around Ashley. If you're expecting every element of NUFC's past and present to be represented in detail here you'll be disappointed. It is 4 episodes long and targeted at a mass audience. A basketball fan would have to tell me if the content frustrated them but I enjoyed the The Last Dance more than practically anything else I've ever seen on Netflix. With barely a passing interest in basketball, I didn't find my lack of knowledge challenged at any stage of that. I'd assume they could have gone into great detail about technical aspects of the games for example that would have been lost on me as a casual viewer, and I'd imagine the same applies here.
