Aye I was there too - it's good that the crowd are already wise to it and getting on the ref early, not that it's helping much atm. Yeah it was a bit scrappy and didn't suit him much, that and a bit of tiredness maybe. I'm always happy for him to try a flick cos when it comes off then it can cause an unexpected transition in play and has a high potential upside. He'll have games like today where not many do come off but it beats safe backwards passes when we're trying to break a team down.

Was his poorest game for us today imo but he still had some quality touches. The physicality he's having to put up is absolutely out of hand. Refs looking at him locked up in actual bear hugs for multiple seconds and doing nothing about it.

I'm really gonna struggle with this whenever it happens. Every setback we have he's my fallback, I know he'll be on to the problem methodically and always representing us well. The main factor is that the first season of ballots was 100% ballots, then f5'ing. 30% was probably accurate and I think I was personally closer to 40%. Since the switch to ballot+general sale the ballot has become a complete waste of time for everyone, which will be partly due to increased members but more down to the process change.
