Don't have much sympathy for Tite but his and Luis Enrique's departures illustrate the razor thin margins in international tournament football. Clearly Spain and Brazil drawing against Morocco and Croatia respectively wasn't good enough for those nations but either could have won their shootout and gone on to win the whole thing, particularly Brazil. It's brutal and I think you'd lower the stakes in these knockout games immeasurably if the World Cup was switched to every 2 years.

Wtf, I thought I was taking the piss when I said the form we were in we will win the World Cup.

I'm not sure how keen we'll be on players who have seriously raised their profile at the World Cup. Since there seems to be a big focus on value, and World Cup performances seem to inflate prices beyond what players are worth.

Ronaldo is still contributing in terms of numbers but to the detriment of the team he is in. He would weaken any top side in the world the way he plays now. The intensity of the modern game allows no passengers.

The answer is that Keys worships money. Trumps anything else.

I used to, I work for Sky now. I did like working at ITV and some of their shows are alright, but definitely prefer BBC football coverage. Commentators in particular.
