They were on the brink of folding when the Russian bailed them out as well, they are the spawniest cunts in football and their fans don't even seem to realise it. That semi versus us at Wembley just sums their existence up in 90 minutes, they smugly and undeservedly luck out at every fucking opportunity while you have clubs like us who have been absolutely fucking cursed forever. A lot of rage spilled out there over a rumour about a transfer of a player I'd not heard of 3 days ago, apologies. I fucking hate them though.

Aye they need another midfielder. PRICKS

Mods can you pls change the thread title to "Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day from what I'm hearing (Ando7)"

Wew Tielemans is only 25?! Thought he was 28 or 29 for some reason. Would be a terrific signing and would add much needed flair and goals to the team from midfield.

Think Sky have just changed it recently, you used to have to go through a menu etc but seems it is permanently on that channel now. -

Not even that disappointed it wasn't a win, just really proud of that performance. We were all over the best side in the world for long periods and some of our football was sensational. A good day.

What a fucking half! How impressive was that, man?!

Fuck off back to Australia man you daft cunt

Depends. It won't allow you to play a formation like 5-5-0. So it'll sub your sub striker in if you have no starting striker, or if you have another starting striker who plays then it'll bring the first sub in. Really hard to explain that without it being a mouthful

There is an massive surplus of forwards who are very technical and tidy in their play but never really score many goals. I know the game has changed a lot but I miss the days when more than a handful of PL strikers scored a serious amount of goals each season.

It's mental. I remember watching him closely on his England debut and he looked like he had everything. Every touch was silky and intelligent. And he had end product for days. I don't see any way back for him now. Rashford seems to be on the same curve, he has been out of form for ages. Wonder if it's just a lack of motivation. Not everyone wants to strive to be the best after reaching a certain level, and if you're not going forwards you end up going backwards.

Souness wrote this the other day in a weird article slagging off Mings: The difficulty for a manager is that he can’t say publicly all that he knows. I had very good captains. Ian Rush at Liverpool, Alan Shearer at Newcastle, Garry Flitcroft at Blackburn – proper men. But when Craig Bellamy was being difficult at Newcastle – we ended up squaring up in a meeting room – he was a hugely popular figure in that part of the world. He's proper obsessed with men like

There is not a hope in hell Gordon would start more than 30 games at Chelsea if he signed for them. Not getting the hype with Gordon and not getting why Chelsea keep buying AMs and not doing anything with them like they're money laundering the fuckers.

If anyone does though...

Saw this on Facebook just now but can't seem to verify the quotes elsewhere, so take with a pinch of salt. Assume it is someone paraphrasing the press conference. Anyway I love owt like this me, it gets me at first glance. “Really trying to engage the current players with what’s gone on before & celebrate our past. To try & draw a connection. We showed them footage…to help create our own history. This club can be successful in this league - we finished 2nd not so long ago. I’m not an expert so please don’t ask me questions(!) But in my position I need to have a certain knowledge. It’s also important the players know the club they’re playing for.” The media in general seem to want to forget we were one of the top clubs in the country for a number of years, so it's nice to see Howe tapping into that. Especially since there are teams in the past that played with style and purpose, can definitely see it being inspiring to the current players.
