Klopp refused to condemn the ESL as well, unlike some other 'big 6' managers who did.

Fair enough, I was getting sick of him anyway so the injury just made me bite the bullet. I'd really like a Chelsea defender mind as they have good clean sheet potential, there is too much rotation there though.

FH lasts for 1 gameweek, i.e. 1 round of fixtures

James is out til after World Cup, isn't he? I shifted him on yesterday.

Yeah this is true, it's like having 3 wildcards this year. Used mine in a rage weeks ago. I'm doing alright (top 200k) but choosing Mitro over Toney is not going well for me so far. Hopefully Mitro is back fit and firing soon. Man City/Arsenal being blank midweek is a headache. I have 4 of their players and need to sell one just to buy him back if I want to field a full slide.

Not sure how we survived 130 years without a shirt with leaves aal owa it.

"Water off a duck's arse" was off the Yohan Kebab interview (on Talksport?) I think, just to add to Vlad's listening list.
-
"Which one is Simon Bird? You're a cunt" is probably the finest opening gambit of any NUFC manager tbf. Also never heard anyone else before or since use the phrase "water off a duck's arse".

Owen about Haaland: "He's hundreds away from it, but it's so realistic because of the rate he's scoring at the moment. It's so realistic that the Alan Shearer record has got to be in doubt, it's got to be an attainable target already."

Would like him to make a glorious return to Hull next so their fans can finally grow to loathe him.
-
His head is so "me, me, me" that he still doesn't feel like he did anything wrong, so it appears he thinks if he re-tells the story enough times then people will start to understand

I don't watch enough West Ham to know the score properly but from an outsider's perspective West Ham should think carefully before changing manager. They have fucked about with LOADS of managers, of varying abilities and backgrounds over the last 20 or 30 years and not once struck a formula like they have the last few years with Moyes. -
We're signing Nic Jackson (ooh), from Villarreeeeeal

fairly argued, I just have a massive hang-up about players not playing for their clubs but continually being selected for their country. Since Phil fucking Neville, basically. And Man Utd have been bang average the last few years, I don't think having their bench players in the England starting lineup can be remotely justified these days. Ironically Southgate has arguably been overly harsh with other Man Utd players (Rashford and Sancho) but I guess we're stacked in those positions.

Can't do Thursday, just go ahead though

I was at the match tonight, what an atmosphere so fucking flat. First half was boring, Germany appeared to have a lot more possession and we had a decent spell. Turned into quite an exciting game second half, especially with the turnaround. Shame we couldn't hold on, and feel bad for Pope. Re the Maguire penalty decision, I was in level 5 on the opposite side of the pitch so probably 150-ish yards away from it and it was absolutely fucking stonewall from there, fuck knows how the ref missed it
-
It's not about Maguire or Shaw being bad for Man Utd, it's that neither have even played a minute for Man Utd for six weeks. They should be nowhere near the England side on that basis alone. The 2 games they did feature in were the 2 shocking defeats, the good form kicked in when they were dropped. It's actually a fairly serious point this, if the two of them continue warming the Man Utd bench for the next two months then get into the England World Cup squad/team then it's fucking ridiculous.
-
Hasn't stopped him selecting Rice, Phillips etc in the past though. Albeit in positions with less options. I think Mount over Maddison sort of sums up my issue with Southgate overall. He could be selecting a really exciting player who I personally enjoy watching, but instead he picks probably the most boring Attacking Midfielder of the decade. Or that's how Mount looks in the England team anyway. Regardless of that though, Maddison never even gets near the SQUAD. There's no excuse for that imo.
-
The Maddison one is bizarre. He has been one of the best players in the league for years now and gives you attributes that could unlock tight and frustrating games, many of which England seem to be involved in. Ridiculous he'll be sat at home.
-
Think it's bizarre myself. Really don't think it matters that much which side a centre half plays on, even if they are passing out from the back a lot.
