Made me do a Ctrl & F FFS.

What the fuck has happened to him at Villa?
-
Seems a decent enough idea to me, Froggy.
-
He's never done it in Europe or in major international tournaments Neither have many others who get classed in that bracket. His main problems have generally been injuries and not playing for a real "top" side until recently.
-
I really don't think he's overrated at all, one of the best strikers in the world when he's fit and playing every game. Was unreal the last 2 seasons before this one.

Newcastle picked up 13 points away from home all season last year and survived by 5 (effectively 6) points, the mackems have 7 at the minute and could quite easily pick up another few and put a good home run together against the dross of the league. It'll be more easy to tell soon - if they keep drawing/losing these home games against poor opposition like they did versus Norwich I'll be more convinced they're fucked, but as it stands they're 2 points adrift with every chance of surviving.
-
is the favourable home element balanced out by the unfavourable away element ? I've been through this many times, most teams in the bottom half tend to build their survival on good home form and we haven't seen a fair representation of whether the mackems are capable of this given the freakish fixture list. They can afford to only pick up a handful of points away from home if their home form's good enough.
-
Current points total is 14, + (1.14 x 19) = 36 points (rounded up). That would have kept them up the year we went down, and that's without taking into account the favourable home fixtures element.
-
He said the form would be midtable form if spread over a full season, 44 points got Norwich 11th last season. I then reiterated that they have a favourable fixture list if they can start beating the shite at home. We'll not know if they're showing signs of being capable of that until Jan/Feb tbh, they have 10 such games. And fuck off calling me a mackem you nutcase.

1.16 x 38 = 44.08. None of the big sides to play at home unless you include Everton.

Wat Sissoko and Anita dropped to accomodate the inclusion of Ben Arfa and an additional full back. Williamson dropped for M'Biwa. Cisse in for Gouffran. Skirge, is your dealer Walter White, give me some of it FFS. -
What does long mean, outside the box? Also would be interesting to see goals scored from rebounds from these long shots, since that's effectively an assist and having men in the box to get to these rebounds could be seen as a fairly smart tactic, rather than hoping the ball flies in and that's it.

I don't think I'm missing anything like - that point in the graph where it's taken a nosedive leading to a long spell on the bench was when he was playing centrally against Everton, which appeared to be Pardew's solution to him playing one poor game in his best position, ironically when he passed more than in any other game this season. The stats aren't what they seem.
-
It's one of the most pointless graphs yet. His highest score according to that is versus Hull which was his worst starting performance of the season and one of his lowest versus Villa when he ran the show. Am I missing something? It's supposed to be the higher the better, is it? Or the higher the less selfish? Well, so what - he was shite against Hull after a superb performance against Villa and since then he's largely been played out of position or benched.

http://www.myfootballfacts.com/Mark_Lawrenson_Predictions_2013-14.html 8 points up on his predictions at the minute. Yeah, we've had some good results but we've also dropped points against West Ham, sunderland, Hull, Swansea, Southampton.

Couple of his goals for Blackpool in vid titled "BLACKPOOL VS WEST HAM - JAN - 1971" as well?

Just put those results into SkyBet and getting odds of 1265/1, FML. Only took me 60 or so attempts as well, should have been putting a quid on every week. Ah well, moan over - won't bother putting any money on. -

Surely Ian Watkids would make more sense than the current one. -
That's shan on Suarez like but I never will feel any sympathy for him, even if he plays the rest of his career clean as fuck it'll always be "boy who cried wolf" the way he carried/carries on. He's a prick and he deserves owt that comes his way.
