I think it'll take a massive uplift in fortunes for this not to end in tears with them cutting their losses next summer. Man Utd fan at my work feels similar.

Which one of you is chopey's friend who works with someone that knows my family...

The young lass seems a bit confused mind.

He's smarter than anyone at the club.. If chopey's son was in charge we wouldn't have a club to support.

What an idiot, no offence.

The Newcastle Online Emo Experiment 2013/14 - After GW11
Interpolic replied to Interpolic's topic in Football
Also, as you'll have seen I'm doing this less frequently now (GW1... GW2... GW3... GW4................................... GW11......................................................GW20 ) and that's because it's a bit of a pain in the arse to do, so I'll do another 2 or 3 this season including the last one I reckon. -
The Newcastle Online Emo Experiment 2013/14 - After GW11
Interpolic replied to Interpolic's topic in Football
OP updated - after GW20, Alan Pardew's black and white army are 9 points and 2 places better off than predicted by the Emos at N-O. Interestingly, N-O got 4 results in a row spot-on before the West Brom game, then most of us got carried away and predicted a win at the Hawthornes. http://imgur.com/YFIJUnN.jpg -
The Official Alan Pardew Excuses Thread
Interpolic replied to WarrenBartonCentrePartin's topic in Football
Whichever way he meant it, he's a cheeky bastard for saying it but he gets away with insulting the fans on a regular basis so he'll keep doing it. -
Even though performances more often than not correspond to these pre/post-match comments? Hmm, I guess I better believe your 100% non-biased hunch than what I see with my own eyes.

They can't even make the effort to placate the fans with anything remotely tangible. "A few words that signal intent, that'll do and they'll leave us alone for a bit".
-
Total disregard for the players available to him.

There are 4 English managers in the Premier League, the reason being most of them are shit. Yet another diversion from the points at hand.

To those saying the players need to take their share of the blame for the result and performance, as is the case in the league this is of course true. However when people say that the players need to share the blame for certain hallmarks of Pardew's regime so far such as negative football, shitting ourselves and holding on to leads for dear life, lack of movement off the ball and also this repeated surrender in the early stages of the cups, it doesn't seem to take into account the change in personnel over the last 3 years. Pardew's a really unlucky chap if he keeps getting given these negative, rout-averse, non-moving cup bottlers as players. Our lineups in the last 4 years of this competition, all against lesser opposition: Stevenage (a) 2011 - lost 2-1 Krul Simpson Perch Coloccini Williamson Barton Smith Nolan Best Routledge Lovenkrands Subs: Ranger Tiote Airey Brighton (a) 2012 - lost 1-0 Krul Simpson Williamson Perch Santon Ben Arfa Guthrie Cabaye Best Shola Ameobi Gutierrez Subs: Ryan Taylor Gosling Ferguson Brighton (a) 2013 - lost 2-0 Elliot Tavernier Perch Williamson Santon Anita Abeid Bigirimana Obertan Shola Ameobi Sammy Ameobi Subs: Dummett Ranger Marveaux Cardiff (h) 2014 - lost 2-1 Elliot Santon Haidara Steven Taylor Yanga-Mbiwa Tiote Sissoko Anita Ben Arfa Gouffran Cisse Subs: Remy Shola Ameobi Obertan By my reckoning that's 40 separate players who haven't been able to get us past the 3rd/4th round against opposition we should be beating under Pardew's leadership, and again we're hearing that another one of these Pardew trends is considerably influenced by the players or in the manager's words after today's game "The cup seems to elude us, in terms of getting a win". It's not the same set of players but it is the same manager, so this is another trend that you have to lay mostly at the manager's door IMO.

We really need to stop signing these drama-addicted players, to help Pardew out.

Newcastle United vs Cardiff City (FA Cup R3) - Sat 4th Jan @ 3pm (not on TV)
Interpolic replied to Dave's topic in Football
The team will be: Elliott Saylor Mbiwa Dummett Haidara Obertan Anita Bigirimana Sammy Shola Cisse The kid in question who's posted it is spot on with the team 99 times out of a 100 and a big clue is that the player he knows is as thick as pig shit. Like i said horrific team, thank god it wont even be available to watch. That is the team. Sorry for doubting you, chaps. -

I'd be really surprised if we played that team like, not getting into a conversation about how good the information is but we're playing a fellow Premier League side and aren't playing in Europe this year. There'd be no excuse for playing that team, even if it went through. -
