Is Cabaye really going to be much use to us next season if his head and heart aren't into it? The best way to deal with this pig's ear of a situation would be to get a deal agreed ASAP, even if we think we're losing out on £5m or so by not leaving it until the last minute. Get the midfielder / winger / striker in that we'd then need, then finalise the Cabaye transfer. Suspect we'll end the window weaker than we started it though.

That's absurd IMO, you won't find me wishing away silverware and shitter teams than us have won cups in the last 20 years. We need to go all out to win one of these things until we actually win one.

This is my fear, I'd rather we let him go "on the cheap" than leave ourselves short in the positions we need reinforcements.
