This. Expensive, luke warm beer and takes ages to get served. If it was called Fumaca's nobody would give a shit at all. That's sort of the point though isn't it, that it's a shame there won't be a bar called Shearers anymore as it was a nice touch and he's probably our most famous player across Europe. And he probably doesn't want his name associated with that shit hole. You asked him like? Why didn't they call the new place Shearers?

We still as short as 10/1? We're the 8th longest odds, it's mental. Brilliant value if you take the emotion away from it.

This sponsored by Wonga or not?

Is that based on anything other than him being a black centre half or not? Could be the next Denzel Washington as well. Next black kid gif kid. I was more thinking they have a similar style; powerful players who can bully forwards on their day but are too slow and can make the odd mistake. Again you could argue he was free so whats to lose. Cacapa was a fair bit older iirc, seemed on his last legs after a decent career.

I'd really rather he kept quiet for as long as possible TBH, last thing we need is more fuel to the media circus. If he's on holiday he should enjoy it while he can, shit is about to get serious. I agree, I don't want to hear anything from him and am now in the position where I want him to stay on at all costs to give us the best chance of surviving this pig's ear of a situation.

What I mean is that his decision making at Newcastle has been beyond appalling.
-
He really is the most pathetic little drama queen that's ever been involved in football. He should be ashamed that he can't act like a real man and a real businessman but instead has to surround himself with snivelling little runts who will do his bidding without arguing back.

Fuck, is Kinnear is charge of the finances as well now then?

I was defending you actually, doesn't matter.

Harsh, it's still sinking in for all of us.

There it is.

I think people are concerned about "losing Alan" as the alternative is staring everyone in the face and we're spooked out by the prospect Despite everything that happened last season I'd take AP 100 times out of 100 over JFK (or anybody he might recommend) I agree, however what I meant was that it was said with a sense that we would be losing a good manager. There are a lot of people out there that still believe in him.

I agree with Tooj and Midds but he'll be picking up a lot of support right now. What was a split support will now be painted as one that wants to let Pardew to get on with his job, no matter how badly he was actually doing it. It surprised me last night the amount of eloquent people who rang up worried we would "lose Alan" over this.

This has crossed my mind like. Despicable that Ashley's willing to wheel his mate out to take this much flak when he's clearly got a screw loose.

How's it a bit much? All this shite about cockneys sounds cringey like...just exacerbates that divide rather than help people from all over hear what we say. And at the same time it's true. I'm a Geordie working in London and have no problem with anyone from any part of the world but that farfetched everyday scenario works. Applying it to this situation is more difficult but it does increasingly look like the "It'll always be St James Park to me, particularly if results are OK" lark has given this prick too much time and too much licence to take the piss. And I include myself in that too, I still go to games - mainly aways but a few homes too - because I feel the need. The anecdote works; you just don't need to reference the fact that we're geordies or they're not at all; just call them for what all people should view them as, Twats. Twats is all that needs to be said and can be evidenced by the trail of sheer callousness and incompetence theyve displayed. Yeah, that's true too. The fact that he's parked up with a load of Southerners that appear to detest the people of the region is a dynamic here though, don't deny it. A big factor in the reason I was spitting blood last night was how clear it is that this oaf holds clear contempt for the people of Newcastle and wants to paint them as idiots. Definitely but it's because he's a complete twat above all other labels. With his bosses bigger ones. I just fear our valid point (as per the anecdote) gets lost in flag waving and empty rhetoric. I'm a 2nd generation mud blood geordie and with yourself living in London you may agree, perhaps not, that it lessens the impact of the issue for the media and joe public elsewhere. We don't necessarily need them onside but the sensationalism of the Kinnear stuff has certainly raised their profile as useless twats. Which has been great. I think we're pretty close with our points of view tbh mate yeah, I just think they're despicably trying to use the idea of thick Geordies to their own advantage and it's difficult to ignore. You're probably absolutely right in saying that the best approach is to ignore it though, the main point is that he's a fucking awful owner.

How's it a bit much? "As has been said so many times to all of you attending matches and paying these bastards wages - well done" The tone is completely unnecessary. The people going to the games are used to going to watch the club that they love. Everyone has a different breaking point. None of the people at the games wanted to see this happen. By all means implore people to stop spending, but I think blaming them for anything is over the top. OK fair enough, see my post above, however I think they're right in principle. The owner's been allowed to get away with far too much and only a handful of people have said enough is enough. I'm not even one of them.

Unbelievable what Adrian Durham's just said there like, "I heard Kinnear say that he'd signed Tim Krul for Newcastle and presumed he was telling the truth but then I looked at the records and saw that he'd been there for 2 years when Kinnear arrived. I think what Joe probably meant was that he brought him into the Newcastle first team, which he did - he played him in the first team at a young age when he hadn't been near the first team before then. Kinnear needs to be careful with the details, he needs to get these things right now he's a Director Of Football". Tim Krul made 9 first team appearances in 2008/09. For Falkirk on loan. Fuck off Durham, you're as bad as Kinnear is.
