Got 4 points so far me, geet in. I've continued putting small bets on each of my predictions but as expected it's not a huge money spinner unless you get a really unlikely one right. Generally you'll nearly break even if you get 1 right, make a small profit if you get 2 right. Made a half decent profit on Man Utd beating Villa 3-2 but generally it's barely worth the 10 minutes it takes me.

Give the block a break ethi, it's not Carr's fault if he identifies good technical players and we only buy the ones we can get on the cheap then hoof the ball over their head. We could do with a more joined up process though, ie Carr's mandate should perhaps be switched from spotting technical players to spotting players that can mix it up. It's not my ideal scenario but it's pointless spending our money on players that we'll end up wasting.

Pardew's made me wish we never qualified for Europe. If the football wasn't hopeless, tedious and negative enough, he's completely turned what should be a real positive into a massive negative. This whole season is just shite, football was fairly fun again for 3 seasons and now I'm back to my default "ah well, I'll watch it if I must" attitude. I haven't even been to a game this season actually, going to Fulham which I'm looking forward to because I enjoy away games and it's been too long, however I doubt that the match will give me a great deal to be proud of.
