I do like the new FIFA mind, played it a fair bit over Christmas and I think it was the first time I've really seen what the fuss is about with PS3/X-Box football games in general. Quite tempted to get an X-Box but it would need to be on the cheap.

I play Alternative like, played Pro Evo for years and play FIFA so infrequently that when I play it on Classic I just sky the ball from inside the box time and time again, or even worse chip it weakly into the keeper's hands like an absolute tit.

better still, is it classed as an assist when someone shoots, screws it horribly, going towards the corner flag type wide, but in to the path of a team mate who puts it in ? why would it not be? assists dont have to be intentional thats my whole point, those stats don't give true reflection on how good a player is. at very best a secondary guide to reinforce actually watching the player. They do admit as much in the article I've linked to, mind. Say it's no substitute for scouting but it can certainly help in some ways.

If I had any money, and I don't, I'd whack some on us to win by exactly 1 goal @ 5/2 and Ben Arfa to score in a win for us @ 3/1. Can see it being really, really tight and frustrating man - Ba's got so many of our goals this season and we don't have a good record against Mark Hughes sides.
