  1. Honestly if Southgate plays 5 at the back + Rice that's too much like. That would be a criminal waste of starting places with most of our best players sat bench warming.
  2. Portugal have been the better side here like, don't fancy playing them next.
  3. Fucking Germans love playing with our emotions, the sick cunts.
  4. So if Hungary and France win then we'll play Hungary in the next round. Not completely inconceivable.
  5. That's very harsh on the Slovakians. Spanish player appeared from nowhere.
  6. Really hope Spain get knocked the fuck out. So boring. Must be how the rest of the continent feels about England.
  7. Well it's a win Absolutely needlessly tedious though. First half 7/10, second half 5/10 for the concentration and professionalism I suppose. We've got a week until the next game and this wasn't the momentum builder I was hoping for. If we go out with a whimper then I think our approach to the games can be rightly called unjustified.
  8. I'm more on about performances so far, what we've seen. Us and Spain must be the most boring of the big sides so far and there's no excuse for it with the talent available. How much of it is down to the obsession with Rice and pairing him with a runner I'm not sure, but on the evidence we've seen so far it's not leading to effective attacking play. Anyway hopefully that changes tonight
  9. I came into this tournament fairly indifferent on him, he's undoubtedly a good figurehead and results / performances have been decent overall since he started, compared to previous managers. Patience is wearing thin now though, there is a wealth of exciting attacking talent there and he's wasting it with his cautiousness. Want to see a good attacking display tonight or I'll be further that way tbh.
  10. I like the fact that there is raw pace either side of Kane now and it might work, I'd have played Sancho though even if it was in for Sterling. I'm still not happy with that central midfield, it leaves huge gaps in between attack and defence and it's not working. Walker in for James is a weird one as well.
  11. Southgate just said he dropped Foden because he is on a yellow card.
  12. Fair enough, I haven't seen enough of him I must admit. But I'm struggling to get my head around Sancho not featuring so far. And Foden being dropped would also be disappointing. Just want to see an exciting performance tonight given all of the attacking talent we have available, both games so far have been pretty boring and there's no excuse for that.
  13. Saka instead of Sancho Christ. Not far off giving up on this bloke.
  14. I haven't been too impressed with Rice so far, don't really see what he's offering us. Southgate loves him though so doubt he'll drop him. Think I'd go Phillips/Mount/Grealish in midfield and Sancho/Kane/Foden up front. Think Mount could play 10 yards further back and help link the play better.
  15. And here it is https://fb.watch/6f4z2O2-pD/
  16. Southgate on Sancho, fuck knows what he's prattling on about here. Sancho made his England debut in 2018 and has 19 caps. "We've got some explosive options and a lot of them are young players and experiencing a big tournament for the first time. "So as a coaching staff we are realistic about our expectations of them as individuals. "Jadon is in that mix. He's trained well the last few days and of course we have got those options and those decisions to make."
  17. He's an alien, tubes is a legal alien He's an Englishman on N-O
  18. Yeah fair enough, I wasn't sure enough to predict that really as it really depends on the first 20 minutes or so in games like this. But you had meathead little Englanders and the likes of Rio Ferdinand on telly saying it was going to be a walkover and I can imagine if the Scots were exposed to that kind of patter it would have helped them and not us.
