  1. Is this the definitive list until around Christmas or are more likely to be added? Could have sworn well over half of our games were on telly last year.

What a load of crap. Bellamy by all accounts ran his bollocks off in training, and was the best player at the club by a distance. Ranger's a complete nobody who by several accounts is frequently late for training and isn't prepared to put in the hours to improve, in addition to being a complete c***. What did Pedro say about him, Kevlaar? Hammered him for his laziness, lateness, and all round stinking attitude. Basically was saying Ranger was of the assumption he's made it already. Pedro seemed steaming like, but it was obvious he doesn't like Ranger. Going off topic here but Beardsley also said he got offered the job pre-hughton, but turned it down  My favourite player ever, but he doesn't half talk some shite.

As a side note: this fee and the Routledge fee must pretty much equate to the fees we paid for the free transfer lads. Get the fuck in, we're back on £35m!

Tbf he must have really fucked them off behind the scenes for them to sell him now, mind.

Free transfers cost about £5m, so hopefully we'll just get some talented tramp off the street or something.

Would like to see him do well after reading so much garbage like this tbh. The lad should have been on loan last season, never mind this.

Pretty foolish not to have loaned him out to see how he did, we would have lost nowt by doing so.
  8. If we don't want to buy Zog because we don't want to spend big money on him then fair enough just say so. I am getting slightly pissed off at the cheap digs at his character though, which the club seem to be leaking through their Journal unofficial spokesman. The guy has only spoken good things about us, why these below the belt comments you cheap cunts? Plus he seems to have largely got on with it at Wigan, perhaps he's grown up a bit.
  9. I swear to God that was happening every summer for 5-6 years like.
  10. Vieira's was the most tedious of them all imo, it seemed to go on for centuries.
  11. http://www.shelflife.ie/img/May%2009/spirits3.jpg It's just too wild, I don't know if I can even relate these days. It's funny though, it kind of diverted my attention from the unprofessionalism and stupidity of the mods for an hour or so. Not anymore though, that's once again at the forefront of my mind. Anyway, wouldn't mind signing this fella like. http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/multimedia/dynamic/00471/Football_-_Premier__471646t.jpg
  12. Nice one, cheers. Regarding the bit in bold, what do you think when people say that we've got the 3rd biggest crowd in the country, are on TV more than most, have a high profile in this country and throughout Europe and by rights should be outspending the likes of Stoke, Fulham and the mackems? I don't think that most are expecting the Earth here. unfortunatly the 3rd biggest crowd in the country doesnt translate into the 3rd biggest turnover or profit with which to invest. stoke have been better run than us for a few years, on a profit even, fulham owe al fayed close to 200mill i believe (check swiss ramble on both, can't really be arsed this late at night....watching the opening sequence to barberella for the 4th time) couldn't resist. I know about the attendances thing madras, but there's too much of this "we're only Newcastle, we're lucky to even be making free transfers" bollocks floating about at the minute and it's getting out of hand. possibly but i'll act as a counter balance to say that we have to live by our finances (till the qatari royal family come in......at which point i'll probably enjoy it for a season then walk away) You? Never! I think it'll be interesting how people's opinions change in the coming months anyway. I'm still f***ed off about us selling Carroll and expected to be appeased a bit this summer, which still might happen. It's just those quotes last week. I actually think it would be worth replacing Llambias with an equally useless prick, just so we could have a couple of months respite from all the bad feeling that he creates. The guy's a f***ing imbecile. honestly don't know enough about what lambias does to really say. Come on! He's a figure that antagonises the fans every time he shows his face or opens his mouth. I can't imagine he's doing such an amazing job behind the scenes that we just have to keep him on, but I suspect that he's one of Mike's best mates so he's there for the foreseeable future.

  15. Fucking wish the mods on here were more professional and less stupid, would make the world of difference.

  17. http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/8941/14570rowleybirkinqc1.jpg Clueless... the 80s... Imre Varadi, kids... retards playing swingball. Mmm-hmm Exactly. I was quite keen to hear what was said in relation to the 80s as I find the comparison quite interesting (and I was born in 1984, which he'll probably find completely unacceptable) but there's just no sense forthcoming. I just want the bloke to make his point ffs.
  18. Proper shit craic like. "Here yer all clueless and that" without any views put forward at all, it's completely pointless.
  19. what are reatrds ? Ask Gemmill, you reatrd so you don't know ? Well, yes, I know the answer. There are kids on here who talk utter shite with very little substance to their arguments. When pressed, they disappear. No idea why? Yourself? You're not actually saying anything meaningful yourself. You started off by slagging off Wullie for not having a good enough understanding of what happened in the 80s and at the same time expecting better of the current board than the one we had in the 80s. I don't get the point you're making, other than that you're feeling brave and that everyone's talking shite. What do you think of the situation atm? That would be a good start.
  20. Racking my brain about what this could be like. Honestly can't think of anything. Start putting bro's before ho's?

  22. I took them up on a similar offer weeks ago and haven't had owt from them this week, so yeah it seems pretty staggered / random.
  23. Just like the men's game then - you can generally always tell when they're just about to miss.

no one would be defending the current lot had they just brought in lee bowyer after securing a champs league play off spot. having all that extra revenue and not nearly so much debt meant we were perfectly placed to build, you knew that fine well though. We spent £10m on Robert, £6m on Bellamy and £5m on Jenas in the January, and that was off the back of finishing 11th. We did that to get to the next level, which we achieved with a 4th place finish. I was as p*ssed off as anyone with that summer when we spent nowt, but it was done after a few years of investing a lot and getting back very little in transfer fees. what was our debt level then ? And who's it owed to? Are you suggesting that this is the year that we finally start chipping away at Mike's loan? I'm not expecting us to go fucking loopy with transfer fees, merely for moderate investment. Otherwise we should have kept Carroll, simple as. But aye, we'll see. Plenty of time yet.
