  1. They need to do something they've never done all season - get any kind of result from a game they've went behind in. So it works both ways.
  2. Carroll hasn't looked so confident in the last couple of games, touch letting him down at times.
  3. "Taking free-kicks is like making love to a beautiful woman... ...Joey, stick it in, high and diagonal." Yeah exactly, I wonder if he does that.
  4. I wonder if Pardew uses sexual metaphors in his team talk. Like that car salesman out of the Fast Show.
  5. That's not Ashley's daughter that all the pervs on here go on about, is it? Because she's a bit of a porker.
  6. I bet Messi thought that if this day ever came it would be a bright spring day in April or May and he could just hoy the piss down. The cup of piss would have an umbrella in it, and he could go sunbathing or surfing or something and forget the indignity he'd just been through because he doubted Kevin Nolan. As it happens, it's December - he'll do the deed and have nowt to go outside to except the freezing cold snow. 8 goals by December man. Nolan took that bet and fucking blitzed it.
  7. Agreed. He's a massive, grammatically incorrect elipsis, been saying it for years. I'm sure there used to be a chant.
  8. @ that guy walking around in an 'ASHLEY' t-shirt. Hopefully he doesn't get separated from his mates.
  9. A few of Keegan's comments: "They can't be trusted - they tell you one thing and do another". "Mike Ashley knows nothing about football and Llambias knows even less". "You'd have a conference call about a player and agree to offer £2m... they'd go behind your back and agree to offer £1m in the knowledge that it would get rejected". Nothing we didn't know, but he wasn't holding back.
  10. In what sense? A week ago I thought we'd get a point, now I think we'll get beat. We were going to have a shite December whoever was in charge. This is why Ashley should have put his hand in his pocket in the summer and bought more quality and more cover, rather than binning his manager when the lack of squad depth inevitably began to show. You can't have it both ways.
