I never thought Mitchell saying it wasn't fit for purpose meant the players we bought are poor. It surprised me that Eddie, who I consider switched on, took it as that. If we keep trading in the way we were, the clubs fucked.

Guy has won us a handful of games on his own with goals. He's obviously low on confidence as I'm sure I read in an article that he's aware he's the boo-boys new whipping boy. You could argue that slagging off the current scouting set up and thus the people in it, probably doesn't build a good working environment. Maybe he rules with an iron fist though. On the other hand, the previous scouting did assemble the current team that we're mostly fond of. Mitchell has said we've been ripped off on most of our signings. So we can't even enjoy that lol. Send out Mitchell first, assess the reaction. If negative, pivot and release an Eales interview with a different narrative. If positive, a follow up video of Eales singing a medley of NUFC chants.
