The club can't seem to win at the minute. PSR debacle, Amanda leaving. We were all jazzed about Paul Mitchell coming in, and now Eddie muddies the water with some comments that to some folk are worrying. I think Eddie will be fine. Hypothetically, if he's not happy with the way the club is ran - he must realise this is just the reality of modern clubs. Other than England, what other clubs can he go to where he can be in charge of everything. It'd be a mental expectation in 2024.

Very enjoyable. Biggest compliment I can pay is that the first half flew by. Every other game from England this tourny felt about 3hr long.

Eddie raved about him. General opinion seemed to be that he was outstanding in training, and just needed to transfer it into real games. We might see that side of him at Forest if he becomes a starter.

I haven't but I'm not surprised. Eddie's constantly touted him for big things at the club. I'd like to hear Eddies comments about it, not that he'd say anything bad. Just interested to see any tells that he's disappointed, or whether he's just been blowing smoke up Elliots arse for the past year or 2. This isn't mean to be a dig at Eddie btw. He's just hard to read, purposely.

I've kind of lost what we're going for as a club this window, so far anyway. Excited to see where we are at the end. So far we've sold a bunch of potential, brought in some shite keepers and allegedly contributed to having Gordons head turned. I know it's early, and I'm not worried but I'm kind of scratching my head.

From an earlier discussion on here, it's unsure if the Minteh money goes towards simply paying off our deficit, or if it's available to spend going forwards. Could be the case its just gonzo, to offset all our previous spending.

Just hope we learn from this and don't push PSR limits (in its current form) again. Spent all last season thinking we were lush lads in the league, keeping our spending within limits.
