In hindsight, I agree. I do think our youth players require an absolute dire injury situation for them to get any decent game time. Probably one of the only negatives of how the team is managed. We'll see what happens to Miley this season.

They'd both be good players for us anyway so it's not a problem - other than it potentially restricting the strengthening we can do elsewhere. All good.

True, but the goal should be to get them before they've been signed by two premier league sides. Avoids not only the massive fee, but the wages.

I think most of the fanbase would be thrilled continuing the recruitment approach that got us those players. I would love it.
