Being in all these competitions probably needs more proactive player rotation. Giving a player a game off when they're at 65% capacity, rather than waiting till they're cream crackered at 30%. Not sure we've done that to it's truest potential, or maybe it just hasn't been possible. No slight on Howe. Just trying to make sense of the injury crisis.

To echo what some others have said, losses don't feel as shit as they used to. Especially when playing big teams like this. Just goes to show that we still have levels to achieve. I'm enjoying this ride of improvement, and to be world class overnight would rob us of the journey there.

Schar & Trippier. Best CB and RB we've ever had at the club? I reckon Schar is on par with anyone we've had, but with him having the goods of an elite male model puts him top. Botman might overtake him in time.

The only thing that bugs me about all this is footballers having endless money, yet no other productive hobbies aside from football. I get some of them are thick as mince and as deep as a puddle. I love owt like seeing Petr Čech playing drums or him playing goalie in Ice Hockey.
