Agree with all of that. Hope Nolan get's a good reception at SJP.

Seems very injury prone, hasn't had a pre season in three years now is it?
-
Nolan's finish was fucking class
-
He loves us and regrets kicking up a fuss so much.
-
Would love Boudebouz. Cracking player.
-
Wanting rid of Coyle?
-
Wouldn't say no to Scharner like.
-
Wish we'd sign somebody, anybody.

I have high expectations of Fulham and Swansea this season, some great signings and have kept relatively under the radar.
-
Seemed to try harder work rate wise today and looked so much better for it.

Can't see Hatem leaving, if anyone does it'll be Cabaye or Tiote.

I think we'd get the same Carroll that Liverpool paid for almost instantly. A big part of him playing for us is he is a fan he'll always have that extra amount of effort playing for us because we're his. If he leaves Liverpool it'll only be back here IMO

Real Madrid are ready to offer €10m which is €2m more than the €8m we thought Lille were holding out for? No... Lille were always hoping for €10m but some on here refused to accept it and insisted they only wanted €8m as fact... We'll find out for sure in next few days if the Madrid interest is genuine... Arbeloa has been in decent form of late but Debuchy has very similar qualities to Contrao so would make some sense having them playing either side... Hang on, no-one knows for sure what the official asking price is / was. Both €10m and €8m were quoted in equal doses off various different tabloids. If Real are intrested they could be offering €10m as they know we havnt got a hope in hell of competing with it. Blowing the competition out the water so to speak. True... No one really knows... Probably a case of €8m gets your name in the hat whereas €10m has Lille packing his locker for him... €6m might be get him if no one else wants him... For the optimists... Ben Arfa turned down late interest from RM to join us... So hope this is true, it would make my love of HBA even stronger

I didn't know HBA had a european ban, how long is it for?

But they've only managed to win their own league 4 times since 1998. PSV Eindhoven had a massive run with 7 titles since 2000, similar to Olympique Lyon had in France. PSV choked access to the vital CL millions for the other top teams in the Eredivisie. OK, well this is a better explanation, still don't think it makes much difference in terms of the argument at hand mind, i.e. whether Ajax can act hard done by when their players go elsewhere. They rarely do, it's a fact of life in the Eredivisie. Most fans only complain when young talent get's raided from the academies before they have spend time in first teams. Many better players than Anita have left on good terms like Ibrahimovich, Sneijder or Suarez, so it's a bit strange in all. Like I said earlier much of the anger in Anita's case seems to stem from him being hard to replace for Ajax. Losing Anita could be decisive for their title chances and making it past the group stages of the CL. Newcastle is not perceived as a (massive) improvement. It's easier to accept for fans if your key player leaves you for a dream-club, and not just a better contract in a better league. Personally I think they are exaggerating, Anita is a good player but they act like he is Xavi. Bocarra should be able to replace him next year. And if their really desperate they can raid Feyenoord for Clasie, that should be good for some drama Signing for Sunderland. not given his first name. Just looked it up.

I remember that - for Fulham. Was the most uncelebratory non-celebration i've ever seen. Aye it wasn't even like "shit, better show some respect" it was literally "Ye Gods.Kill me. Kill me now." is there a video of this anywhere? I need to see this

Last season when we played Villa away he was top draw, don't think he's lost it just yet.
