  1. £70k-£200k per year, plus £1,000 per match.
  2. Dermot Gallagher is going to single handedly find a line in British law that legalises drug use defending him.
  3. Is my mind playing tricks on me, or did they not go on hiatus for a few years not long back?
  4. As others have mentioned the Liverpool game from a few years back. Nah, fuck that. For me the section of corporate that allows away fans is the directors box and applies to the away teams directors, owners, unavailable players, and their families only. Buying an expensive ticket in corporate, or semi-corporate isn’t the same, and should still be reserved for home fans only.
  5. Going to hazard a guess and say that the Premier League will just wave through any deal John Textor makes for his next Premier League club, despite Lyon being ran so poorly financially.

That’s the whole point though. We don’t want to make our key players available, ideally we don’t want to sell them, and if we do, we want to make sure that we are well compensated. In 2-3 years, our aim would be to be at the same level as the likes of Arsenal, and dare I say it Liverpool as the team to be challenging Man City. From then on how many clubs could poach him from us? You could say Real Madrid, and Barca, plus maybe Man Utd because of stature, possibly throwing in Bayern, PSG, and Liverpool, Man City being a given because of how well they do. I absolutely don’t think we should be selling our key players to outside of those clubs, and when we do sell to those clubs, we should be asking for top dollar.

No one is saying they will. To be honest, I’m surprised the family section has stayed so big, or even still exists. I think most people realise that we are on the verge of £1,000 or more season tickets. The question is if we are paying £1,000 in a new stadium, of £1,500 for a revamped SJP?

Yeah. The fact is, for 3 years every match has been a sellout, with ten of thousands not getting tickets. Even if we take the claims about the West Ham match at face value, we are still 2 weeks away from that match, and unless you are a child, or accompanying a child, the match is a sellout. That match is on a Monday night, live on TV, and in the middle of winter as well.

No. I even checked, they are all for the family section.

Aye, always says there is plenty of ticket available, but they are almost always in the family area, and tied to taking a kid with you.

Would it? We had a queue of over 40k for the members resale of our Liverpool match yesterday. We have a membership number of approximately 100k. We have as many members applying for tickets each match, as we have season ticket holders, if not more.

Well in recent articles we have heard that people involved with it, both at the club, and with 3rd parties, have all had to sign NDA’s. I think even council workers have had to sign them. We have also seen many journalists who cover the club change their attitude from wanting a SJP extension/rebuild, to a new stadium.

I don’t think it is though. Barca and Real Madrid have rebuilt their stadiums recently, and their capacity is greater than what they initially had, and they weren’t regularly selling out, outside of El Classico. Arsenal don’t visually sell out the Emirates either, and in recent weeks they have announced that they are looking into expanding. Even the Milan clubs are circling back to having a new super capacity San Siro, over building their own smaller stadiums. To cut the story short, Taylor Swift (and others) sell out stadiums. The clubs want that income. I recently read an article on it, and they were literally calling some of the new stadiums being built as Swiftdomes. Don’t get me wrong, I think we would struggle to sell out 90k-100k, but at 80k I’d expect us to either sell out, or come fairly close to doing so (so long as the club continues to show some ambition). I also think that if we do get say an 80k capacity stadium, we’ll only see a max of 10k additional season tickets available. All in all, I think they have already made their decision, they likely settled on it after the initial feasibility study, and likely had it as a plan going into it.
  16. I think it was in an interview with one of the board members. I can’t find the link, but they said it was a record kit launch for us, and that’s literally all they said. No facts, figures, or any other indication.
  17. Elite status has everything to do with how much merchandise you are able to sell. Roma are going to be joining the elite status next season, and they are hardly winning major trophies. I also think Benfica are joining, and they have a huge following in Latin America, but have went off the boil over the last few years. Ajax are rumoured to join the season after next, and obviously they are the default Dutch team, and like Benfica, have went off the boil in recent years. Without revealing the figures, the club has said that we have had a record breaking year for shirt sales. Castore increased our options on tracksuits and other merchandise, but this year’s Adidas stuff has taken it to another level. With our Adidas deal rumoured to be about £40m, that would mean that we have to sell half a million shirts at £80 just to directly break even.
  18. Have you seen Forests’ next fixtures? Arsenal A Ipswich H Man City A Man Utd A Aston Villa H Brentford A Tottenham H
  19. Honestly, it’s no different to a shop assistant thinking a certain customer is a prick, going out the back and telling their colleagues, or going home and doing so. So long as you are professional when dealing with that customer, no one gives a fuck. He’s entitled to his opinion, he’s made it worse by adding the bit about Klopp being German, which will gain accusations of racism, and the stuff about Liverpool/Scousers, which will bring them on. If he said this about any other manager, any other club, then it would have been swept under the carpet by now.
  20. That referee also survived rumours/revelation that he quite literally, liked it doggy.
  21. The wider stuff about Liverpool, Scousers, and bringing Klopp being German into is the real damage. The stuff about Liverpool/Scousers should go down as a Man Utd fan having football banter than any football fan does, however we all know that they will victimise themselves as this being proof of genuine discrimination.
  22. Aye he did, gave Man Utd the free kick which wasn’t even a foul which lead to their goal, which also looked a bit offside.
  23. Aye, to be fair if he never mentioned him being German beforehand, what he says isn’t all that bad.
  24. I honestly think that we deserved a point in our league game against them. Our shit defending let us down, but so did our finishing. We should be sitting here with at least a draw against them, knocking them out of the cup, and beating both Arsenal, and Forest in the last 2 weeks.
