The only clubs struggling with PSR are the ones wanting to challenge. That’s us, Villa, and Forest, although Forests was largely down to having to buy a new squad because of players going out of contract, and loans returning. Everton’s problems initially arises from when they first bought all those players in order to become the best of the ready when is and Villa were recovering from relegation. They also had the audacity to build a new stadium, with borrowed money, which is what pushed them over the edge. Leicester again likewise had the audacity to win the league, win the FA Cup, and wish to build a team who could compete at the top end. They came close to finishing in the top 4 the two seasons before they got relegated. As of yet, non of the top 6 teams, and none of the teams who know their place have been given any PSR punishments.

The Duke of Northumberland really, which is why it’s a shame that Staveley went. Her father has links to him, and no doubt would have been able to find a perfect bit of land somewhere. It’s also not surprising that she used Alnwick castle to host end of season and directors/owners meetings, and since she has gone there has been a change of venue.

Nuno mustn’t have passed him the bowl of chips at the owners/managers meal out.
-
Just been given a new contract hasn’t he?
-
Willock isn’t passing a medical.

Parish isn’t selling to us, a top 6 club, but not us.
-
It would be a big blow if they sold him. To the point that I don’t think Villa would be challenging for the European places.

It’s fucking true though, I mean it’s Steve Wraith and his dentist mates for his shitty Redbubble shirts, but it’s true.

For that money, I’d rather just take the gamble on Samu or as someone else has said, throw something at Ramos and see if it comes off.

Just 2-3 weeks too late.

I think it would be fair to say that the vast majority of that will be TCD’s mortgage. We have already seen how the Premier League are happy to fine Everton for interest payments on their new stadium. The nearest comparison would be someone saying to TCD that he can’t have that mortgage whilst someone else at his company is allowed £1m on their credit card. Not only that but they are going to punish him for having such a mortgage (even though he can afford it) by taking away some of his allowances on his work on his budget at work, making it more difficult for him to achieve his performance related bonus.

It means a lot less for us, we can’t play ourselves, but we are clearly the best team in Pot 4, and should be in Pot 2/3.

I’m sure @LFEE will know someone organising a bus for the low price of £29.

Am I being thick, but Red Star Belgrade played Pafos last night, one of them has to make it to the group stages, and neither one of them is in the projected groups. Edit: Pafos are, I just had to open up the tweet and expand it.

The sleeves on the Benfica strips seem to either be tight and up to the shoulder, or loose and overlapping the elbow.

It should be NUFC fans only. Fuck giving those fuckers a free drink, catering staff should be pissing in their pints of Carling. Although that maybe an improvement.

Liverpool aren’t getting a red card, the narrative of us ‘going out to injure’ Liverpool players has already been set. We’ll not be able even look like we are challenging for the ball without a yellow card being shown, and god help us if we go in for 50/50.

Watkins is on the downward spiral, I think Villa have realised that they made a mistake keeping him and letting Duran go.
-
Nah. I’d rather we went all out and paid the full whack for Samu.

He has to say that, it’s becoming increasingly clear that we are not getting 2 forwards in, and Sky Sports need transfer news to continue running. This is their biggest news story and they want it running up to and including deadline day to have people sat back watching it on SSN. No one watches deadline day anymore. There is no news camera vans out watching for players coming or leaving, the presenters are just given a club script to read, Stoke fans have been banned from buying dildos to bash around people’s heads, and Harry Redknapp isn’t there to hang out his car window like a bulldog trying to catch the wind. A couple of push notifications from a few journalists on Twatter will keep you updated instantly, you might get a couple of people viewing SSN for the last hour/half an hour, it you aren’t getting them sitting there watching it all day like you used too.

It would have been great if the club ended up saying that they were looking into their options regarding the conduct of Liverpool, and called out the likes of Romano for being complicity, as well as saying that NUFC under the current ownership structure will never engage in transfer activity with Liverpool FC again.

Fuck sake, I didn’t even realise that the Arsenal ballot was open.

I never ever want to hear how the Bundesliga is a league of teams that is fan orientated again.
