Just been in to see the shirts. Honestly, size wise, you are best going for your normal size. The material is much like the Northern Rock shirt with the blue sponsor. The larger the size of the shirt, the more of white stripe it is has next to the sleeves. There is no large versions out on the shop floor at SJP, but the XL, 2XL, and 3XL all have the white stripe, the 2XL and 3XL all showing it more. The XS, S, and M’s do not have the white stripe next to the sleeves.

I believe it’s just new digital advertising screens.

Yeah, they have spent a shit load. The thing is they try to justify it by saying they sold players. Well yeah, in recent years those players have went for inflated fees to Saudi. You have still been spending a shit load of money.

No, I assume it’s soo though, otherwise he wouldn’t have mentioned it. He did say that it’s going to be mega long, and he’s already had to half the content. In an era of digital content, I’m not sure why he couldn’t have just wrote an extra long article to be honest, even if he spilt it into different parts.
-
Nah, he just says it will focus on the questions the club will be asking and then answering those questions. I’m going to assume that it’s going to take the emotional attachment towards SJP out of the answers.
-
On POTT podcast, Chris Waugh is saying that he’s wrote a mega article that pretty much answers everything about what the club will be doing in regards to the stadium.
-
When was that photo taken? The East stand still has the SD italics font signage.
-
I still think Liverpool will overturn this at home in the return leg.
-
Looks onside to be honest.
-
Fully confident that we would.
-
Same. I never bought a Wonga shirt. Barely got any after that, usually bought in the sales, and from other outlets such as that sports shop on Market Street.
-
Yeah, I’m one of them to be honest, but people are zooming in on the authenticity badge trying to find the blue outline being slightly thicker than the original etc. The fact is, there are plenty of photos of originals out there to show that even back then, there were minor variations in batches.

Kind of makes you wonder why they never tried to release it or do designs inspired by it before Ashley fucked them off.
-
Owner maybe trying to release some funds for his Everton takeover. Roma themselves are trying to build a new stadium. Maybe they have decided to cut their losses?
-
This. I also think it will be difficult if not impossible to make them the exact same one these days. Machines will be different, even materials will be different. If you are walking down the street with it on, no one will notice any of the difference. If you are getting it put in a museum, then obviously someone with a magnifying glass is going to be able to spot it straight away.
-
If they do come up, I wonder if their owner will try to cash in on them or if he really is in for the long run. If they don’t come up, would that be 10 years outside of the Premier League for them?
-
This. I said before injury time was added that it would be about 10 minutes. Botman was down for 2 minutes as stoppage time started.
-
Well yeah, but I mean in general play. No real opportunities for either team. It’s not the end to end high scoring game I thought it might be.
-
I’m going to guess that it will be an obligation to buy if they get promoted.
-
This has been a fairly tame match.
-
I do agree with the comments that our stripes should go all the way up and over. I’m not sure if it is just the fact that the sponsor is an oval instead of horizontal wording, but it does look a bit tighter than what I thought it would be like. Rob Lee could probably have done with a size up.
-
They won’t know. Their priority will be to treat him, I doubt even the Spurs’ bench will know too much yet.
-
We’ll always be under the ‘hangover from our owners’ even if we won something after they left. I think I could live with it, especially when the biggest criticism will be from a club who once lost the playoff final, but we’re still promoted, and have a beach ball listed as a match winning goal scorer against Liverpool.
-
Taking out our own personal closeness to it, a final consisting of us and Spurs is better for football, however Spurs last won a trophy (ironically this one) in 2008. It’s trophy doubt that any club outside of the top 6 would likely prefer to have.

Nah, Liverpool will take apart their high line.
