Aye, it’s all very much too 90’s for me. Growing up in a council estate east of Newcastle, it’s very much a design of what all the assholes in the estate would wear, before ‘loungewear’ became popular and acceptable to wear. So the tracksuits don’t interest me at all. The shirt looks nice, but it’s not really a design the club had at any point, and I think they would have been better off just re-issuing the 96 tops, although I think they will actually do that further down the line.

Depends if he can afford it though. I know he’ll have plenty of money, but treatment in the USA could easily clean him out straight away, and he’ll no longer have insurance for it.

I don’t think that should be a criteria. We should have a diverse group, and I do agree that we should have an international fan, but the one we have is clearly the wrong choice. Let’s be honest, there will be plenty of fans who are locked out of both home and away games who deserve a voice. I do, and did when the members were announced feel that they have tried to pick fans who will agree with whatever they want. New stadium? Sure. New badge? Sure. I mean I’m not against either of those per se, but they have to be done sensitively, and I just don’t think 1 member on there has the capability of being able to do that.

This is what pusses me off. I’m a former season ticket holder, been a season ticket holder twice, both over multiple seasons. First time I stopped being one was when I became an adult, my mam and stepdad could no longer afford it for me, and I wasn’t yet in work to afford it myself. 2nd time was the Rafa situation, which we can agree to disagree if you disagree with my view. I have decades of purchase history of buying tickets, being there during the lows, away games etc. Come to when I want a match ticket I can’t get one, and she gets major games, a Champions League game (our first home game in 20 years), and gets appointed on a board that is designed to protect our history. I’m sure she got a cup final ticket as well.

Yeah, I have also said that if you give people a render of what a new SJP or Castle Leazes stadium would look like, then give them the option, rather than asking if they would move, then you’d get a lot more people on board. Also, how many people currently have a season ticket and say they want to stay at SJP, but would moan when their season ticket reaches over £1,000?
