Yeah, but the first bit which outlines which parts is listed is a good thing to keep.

There absolutely is a division though, and I’m not saying it most season ticket holders, but there is one. It was only a year ago when that young lass spent years having a go at fans who weren’t season ticket holders and taking the piss out of them being locked out ended up kicking off at the club because of the Champions League ticket prices, and how she now goes to university, has a part time job, and because mammy and daddy are no longer paying, can’t afford it.

They aren’t, plenty of our members are season ticket holders. What we don’t like is the season ticket holders who sat there and had a go at fans who protested against Ashley, many of which are from this forum. They said to support the team, not the regime, yet say there is silence and never supporters the team. They are also very much against doing anything to SJP, because they have their season tickets, so fuck everyone else. On top of this they like to take credit for Wor flags etc, forgetting that Wor Flags stopped flag displays whilst Ashley was there, because some people who were in it, gave up their season tickets. Anyway, no one is against the season ticket holders, but there is some season ticket holders out there who like to play super fan, and do so by causing division in our support by having a go at none season ticket holders and/or those who protested.

This is essentially what the London stadium is.
-
It’s not really a realistic possibility though. We wouldn’t get away with building on that part of Leazes Park.
-
If we go to a new stadium, we will get a load of backlash from season ticket holders who don’t want to move. The alternative however, is that they either pay £1,000-£1,500 for their season tickets, which they will kick off at, or they have their season tickets suspended whilst work at SJP is ongoing. There is also a possibility that they would be subjected to both.

Is it true about the contact?
-
Don Goodman seething.
-
The fuck was the keeper doing there?
-
Aye, don’t see why we would hate the Freeman. Surely without them we would just have an urban mess of developed land, no public parks, and no hoppings, which actually enabled us to enter the competition we last won.
-
Sounds like it’s a new stadium at Castle Leazes then.
-
That’s one of the reasons why I have been impatient on it. As soon as Man Utd, Liverpool, and PSG sort their grounds out, both the Premier League, and UEFA will change the rules.
-
Man Utd are fucking up Englands chances of getting an additional European slot.
-
2nd yellow I think.
-
Yeah it was, it was listed primarily because of it’s internal architecture, and that was ripped out without permission.
-
It was replaced a few years back, like for like after vandals smashed the fuck out of it.
-
It is part of their city centre, it is on the Northern edge, similar to SJP, but it is in the city centre.
-
English heritage do not give a fuck, and will fight you every step of the way. There have been cases where they have taken legal action against property owners who have replaced cast iron guttering with faux cast iron guttering. You absolutely won’t be able to rip the bandstand out, and if you do, you might as well go and fill in the duck pond, and turn every tree in the park into sawdust. It’s an absolute non-starter, and if the reason why for the last 30 years no one has tried it, and one of the reasons why Ashley sold the club for £300m, and not much more.
-
Off topic, but I seriously doubt many people have been to Sunderland. The SOL is in the city centre, it’s just as close to their main shopping street, as SJP is to Northumberland Street. The fact that it’s over the river deceives a lot of people.
-
Except that is building on the listed Leazes Park, and more importantly, one of the main reasons why it’s listed, the bandstand. If it was that easy, they would have started it by now.
-
It’s still a listed park.
-
It is really. 60k is too small, but 70k with the ability to take it to 80k easily enough if demand holds is great. Let’s remember that Man Utd don’t have 80k seater stadium, Liverpool won’t even have that much when they are done with their expansions. I can’t see us needing a stadium capacity much higher than 80k.

Morwick Dairy milk and ice cream stands in the stadium.
-
But how soon until we need concrete?
-
Aye, Sandy Lane is an absolute bastard of a road, and it’s not just limited to rush hour either. It randomly just clogs up all the time. Also, the racecourse is not the city centre, it will be a no go for many on that basis alone, and it is on the boundary of North Tyneside, and Northumberland.
