Yeah. Ok the CL draw comment he shouldn’t have said, but if he wasn’t being put in the public meeting fans, then people would just bash him for not having a relationship with the fans. Ironically, the people bashing him for meeting fans, would be the first ones to go up to him, say hi, and shake his hand.

Imm going to guess the new ownership at North Shields has resulted in a lot of fans heading back to the other side of Meadowell.

The trouble is, the work that he does will never have instant or even short term results. The work he does will be felt years down the line. People on Twitter having a go at him don’t have a clue.

It doesn’t make a difference what Diaz did. Schar putting his head as a reaction is all that matters for us.

Like it or not Schar reacted and moved his head towards Diaz’s as well. By the letter of the law it was a red card. I’m not surprised that it hasn’t been overturned.

There was game last season when Barnes came on for us and Gordon went to the right, the West Ham game last season. It changed us so much because they could no longer double up on Gordon, and had a threat on either wing. It took us from losing 3-1, to winning 4-3. A RW would be so transformational for us.

See the same thing happen by the Sky 6 game in game out, Liverpool actually being the worst offender. It usually goes unpunished. It’s not a red card, and I thought the Schar red last week was the correct call.

Think if he argues against Mitchell he’ll be gone. Staveley and Ghodoussi were the ones backing him previously. He doesn’t have anyone in the boardroom to back him up now. Performances this season, and the refusal to play options when he had them last season will be mounting against him now. As others have said, he needs to be more ruthless, and playing players who are not good enough or ready in games to try and encourage them to invest in that area of the squad over others won’t work.

Aye, at CB if we have everyone fully fit we have Botman, Schar, Kelly, Burn, and Lascelles. At RW if we have everyone fully fit we have Miggy, and Murphy.

Can’t be. All summer I heard that he should start ahead of Miggy and is much better than him. He has the same end product, and can’t run down the wing unless the opposition LB is out of position. He has nowhere near tracking back ability as Miggy either.

Yeah, and it’s baffling why it hasn’t been done already. We should have signed people by now. We are in the transfer window, one which we went into knowing key weaknesses in our squad, and one where it is pivotal to determine if we are going to stay up there competing, or fall away. A shop wouldn’t hire cashiers in November, and only let them start working the till in February.

Yeah. The game was very much like the game against Burnley where we were a goal down at half time, ASM came on and turned the game around for us in 10 minutes. Any sort of decent player on form in that game and we would have won it.

It’s not a good point though. I know as the game went, and as they nearly won it at the end, but it’s not a good point. We are on our 3rd full season of the takeover, and 4 years since they bought the club into the 5 year ‘Compete for the league’ project. A draw away to Bournemouth is not a result we should be happy with, nor is the performance.

This PSR is beyond a joke. It basically means we can buy 1 good player a year and by the time we have a new 1st 11, we need to renew it all over again. We either have to challenge it legally, or take a hit somewhere. Beyond a joke that we are basically at the same level as Bournemouth and Southampton.

Shouldn’t have been robbed, should have just passed it to the defender he was facing. He did the same on the counter earlier on, could have passed it to Gordon, or could have played it out to the right, kept a hold of it when everyone could tell he was going to lose it. Even last season, a lot of the time we gave the ball away was because we just wouldn’t fucking pass the ball to the player available next to them. Schar is the worst offender when he comes out from defence, but everyone likes when he does because they can shout ‘Shooooooooot’.
