  1. Close to signing an agreement aren’t they? You would have thought that at the very least, Kingston Park would give them a home.
  2. I’m joking man. No reason why they would let Howe go at the minute.
  3. Pep when he leaves Man City and we have tied up a few more sponsorship deals. Our owners will not be happy with sitting around the Europe League/Conference places.
  4. Despite that I still think we are capable of winning down there. I don’t think Bournemouth are all that to be honest, they will certainly finish in the bottom half of the league. Regardless, I still think the minimum expectation should be a win.
  5. Sorry like, but in response to those who would take a draw. If you want us to be competing for the Champions League, or even Europe, then a draw away to Bournemouth would have to be a result you have to be disappointed with.
  6. His interview on Talk Sport reminded me of this on Superstore. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/L3Ma8BWd5PRer3jF/?mibextid=KsPBc6
  7. When I first started following football, Jenas was probably my favourite outfield player. I thought he was going to be the best big thing. He suddenly went to Spurs, and Spurs were below us at the time. It was probably the first or one of the first indications that Shepard had checked out. As it turns out, that debut game aside, he wasted his opportunity. He could have been so much better. Now both Spurs, and Newcastle fans would forget about him if he wasn’t on our TV all the time.
  8. Imagine if it was exactly that?

The problem is, it doesn’t matter if those clubs are bigger or not, both those clubs are in the Premier League. When we last went down, we sold Townsend to Crystal Palace. No one in their right mind would say that Palace are a bigger club than us, but it happened because we were no longer in the Premier League. Whilst they are down there, they will always struggle to keep hold of any players who maybe decent.

Well I mean some people having been running one for 2 weeks now. Kielder reservoir is going to be dry, and Northumbrian water are going to be raking it in.
  11. But there is plenty of adults particularly from different countries who pick Man Utd and others teams because of success. Also my point was that 10 years of winning only 5 trophies as your bad time isn’t exactly testing for a supporter.
  12. I had this exact conversation on Reddit the other day. Someone was saying that you now can’t call Man Utd fans glory hunters because of the bad time they have had since SAF left. I pointed out to him that in the last 10 years they have won 5 trophies, 2 in the last 2 years, and the lowest they have finished is 8th. Every club outside of the top 6, well actually Spurs included would actually think that is a dream scenario. Imagine thinking that winning a trophy on average every other season isn’t successful and you are not a glory hunter because that’s the worst spell you have known your club to go through? If Man Utd started finishing mid table and not winning trophies for 10 years, and the glory hunters still stuck by them, then I’d start to consider not calling them glory hunters anymore. Until then, nah you picked your sweets, it’s your fault that they are too sour.
  13. Nah, I think they knew from the off. It’s a long term plan for them. They want to have competitive and eventually sustainable teams. They have a big population, with more and more younger people expected in the next few decades. As it’s already been said, just giving people shops to buy things in isn’t enough. There is only so many Gucci headbands you can wear. They need to give people entertainment and leisure. They may not create the Middle Eastern Real Madrid, but if they could have an MLS, I’m sure they would be very happy.
  14. Obligation to buy if Everton stay up, Everton will actually end up relegated.
  15. Don’t know, but Everton would be closer to his Manchester home.

This. I hate Parish, but he’s done what’s right for Palace and rightfully held out for as much as he could. Much like we wouldn’t want to sell Bruno or Isak, and would only be willing too if people offered daft money.

He was on Talk Sport last week as it happens. Not at the same time as Simon Jordan though, because Simon Jordan would knock him out.
  18. Sorry like, but when Sky and Talk Sport presenters do that, or ‘Breaking news coming up/after the break’ then it’s nothing news. They will break breaking news as soon as they get, everything else is filler and designed to keep you watching/listening.

Never seen him play, but I think Guehi is both over priced, and over rated. So if we got this guy for less, then could get a RW in, I’m all for it.

    Rafa Benítez

I love Rafa, but I’m not going to sit though a Liverpool love in.

In all fairness to him, and I dislike him massively, both times he said something, he was in public. The 1st one was when he was at the Premier League meeting and they asked him that along with other questions. The 2nd time he was on TalkSport and was talking more about the clubs finances and the new stadium.
  22. You’d imagine we would start coming under the Newcastle United football group. Wasn’t Staveley supposed to be involved in negotiations for some of the clubs?

    St James' Park

One thing I have always thought that Newcastle needs is an outdoor Amphitheatre. If Scarborough can have one, why not Newcastle? It would be ideal either in Exhibition Park, or where SJP currently stands.
  24. Dermot Gallagher on SSN is a disgrace. He’s saying Schars is a red, Diaz for the same offence isn’t. Going all around the houses to justify why one is, and the other isn’t. He then says the throat hold in the Arsenal game isn’t a red card. What is the fucking point in him being on this show. Might as well have a little banner as every decision is made in each game saying ‘Dermot Gallagher approves of the referees decision’.
