Every women’s game I’ve been too I’ve paid for. I think the lowest I have paid was £2 for my nieces, but that was before the takeover. I’d love to know where the free tickets for lasses could be had.

After knocking out Montreal in the last round, Canadian Premier League team Forge FC have beaten Toronto FC in the 1st leg of the Canadian Cup semi-final. That is 1 hell of a result.
-
They have, but I don’t think they are unbeatable.
-
I actually don’t think we need to fear them though. They are not the same Spanish team who ripped football apart for 3 tournaments.
-
I think they were 2nd best even before then. They had a good 10 minute spell in the 2nd half.
-
The goalkeeper was proper Pickforded there.
-
See what having proper forward up front does, that.

Won is a very lose term.

Been playing with 10 with Kane today.
-
Dutch starting to turn up a bit now.
-
Kane is a liability. Every pass of his has either been backwards, or taken so long it may as well have been backwards. Everyone else is pressing their defenders high up, and he doesn’t, suddenly the Dutch are away with the ball.
-
Saka too, but no one is matching his pace and getting in the box for him.
-
Why does the crosses in to the box have to be so slow? Drag ball backwards, wait, wait, wait, then cross it.
-
Aye, with this you could try and form an argument that he’s went in a bit reckless, with the PSG one, there is no argument to be had.
-
Kane’s reaction wins that penalty.
-
Nah, that’s not a penalty.
-
That’s not a penalty.
-
How didn’t he get to that? It was right at him.
-
Trying to place a bet on them to win the league, but Ladbrokes don’t have a market for it.

A bit of both I guess, mostly part of the plan. Staveley should be able to cash in on her shares which would see her debt paid off, and probably still leave her in a better position than she has been in before. The club are able to issue shares to themselves, thus raising capital in the club without having to make accommodations for her. At houses room level we now have everyone we need to run the club in a manner of the likes of Man City, and PSG without the need for her or her husband. As I mentioned in my post earlier, it allows PIF to make the decision they need to move the club forward, both in terms of investment, but also making difficult decision that may not be popular with supporters. I’m talking moving to a new stadium or rebuilding SJP, new club badge for better marketing purposes etc. The club now doesn’t have that face with the supporters that is accountable. There will be negatives to this, but if they make the right decisions, despite them not being popular, then we may well benefit, and that will be the intention.

I’ll be sad about them leaving. The club got to them in a good way. They connected with the fans, the area etc. Little things like the windows eventually being washed, bringing Adidas back, and the Newcastle sign. I doubt any of that happaned without them getting to know the club, and listening to supporters. What we have now is a group of people who will be very good at their job, but maybe not emotionally tied to us. PIF now ultimately have the blank slate to make the difficult decisions. Ok long term they will likely all be best for the club, but you’ll likely have less input as a fan now. We’ll now likely have the new stadium, be it a rebuild, or a new location, it will have a sponsored name, and no longer be SJP (if it’s a rebuild). We’ll end up getting a new club badge. Popular, and local players will go for better players, possibly more evident this year with the women’s team. We all know this was going to come eventually, but when those decision are made, and when we have things like the sign that is little in the grand scheme of things, but massive to the supporters, we’ll no longer have them there for us. I hope they get some peace though. We all know about her lawsuits which is likely to leave PCP bankrupt, or not far off. Hopefully they are able to settle all of that, spend sometime with their son, and hopefully they are able to watch us as fans, and don’t go tying up another deal for say West Ham. Above all else, hopefully this isn’t being pushed by Amanda’s medical condition.

Down to the rumours from yesterday.
-
Yeah, I saw people who had bought their shirt in JD, and went to the club store to get printing on it.

Not directly related to us, but here is an advert that is being shown in Saudia Arabia now, and a MENA based journalists view/observation of it, showing society progress in Saudia Arabia.

He’ll move this summer. Final year of his contract now.
