If the Premier League really wanted to prevent clubs from going bust then debt would either be banned or limited. Instead you have Man Utd at over £1bn worth of debt for over 10 years, without it reducing. You have Spurs at £1bn worth of debt, and you allowed the likes of Burnley to be bought via a leveraged buyout. If they didn’t want 1 team having an advantage financially over the other, there would be a hard spending and salary cap. That would leave the Premier League open to competition from other leagues for the best players though, and also would prevent the clubs they do want to have a financial average over, from having one. It all falls down at the first line of questioning, but people actually believe it. They believe because they want too. It’s a simple answer. However I believe there is a line somewhere, and I also believe there is a big difference between going to a match and getting involved in the atmosphere, and going to a match with the sole intention to display inappropriate behaviour to gain followers on social media, which includes abusing a number of players. For example she piggy backs on the abuse Saka gets from opposition fans (which is racially motivated) and builds upon it.

A little opinion I have had for a while now. Since the growing tend now is to have a fans shirt, and a players shirt. The fans shirt should come with felt sponsors like shirts used to have. You don’t need to have the sticker patches to save weight on fans editions etc.
