The French team is likely to be Lyon. They only need a point in their final game to finish 7th which doesn’t give them a European place unless the winner of the French Cup final are already in Europe. Lyon play PSG in the final, so either Lyon win the Europa League place by winning the cup, or get the Conference League dropping down to them.

Aye, Stuntpegg is canny, came across her videos a few months ago. Seems to get football and football fans. It goes in the centre of goal, and that is with a deflection taking it upwards. Keeper should have been able to better. If he feels the need to dive to be in the centre of goal with the ball initially being on target to hit the lower part of the goal, then he’s positioned wrong from the starting point.

In all honesty, I’d rather as many of our players don’t get picked as possible. We have had a long season, some of them will have been injured for periods of it. I’d rather they had a summer off, and come back and do a full pre-season with us, rather than going to on international duty, and coming back to pre-season a week or 2 later.

Nah, I did think this could cause an upset. Oxford had some ok form coming into this, and have went under the radar and been a solid club this season. Probably most likely of an upset out of all the play off finals.
