Well that’s good that she’s not being released. Hopefully when she gets back she will have finalised her development enough to be given a chance.
-
That the lass they signed in January up front? I was saying to @OpenC that I’m not convinced by her. In all honesty it was always going to happen. They have had back to back promotions and need to go again. The WSL is under new managements from next season. They don’t know what the future holds. Will they be cutting clubs off and go through an application process? Will they introduce salary caps or transfer caps? In terms of the club overall, you just know that the next FFP/PSR will be no longer excluding the women’s teams. NUFC needs to be in there before all that happens. Ok the girls we have now might reach the level to do that in a few years, but do we have that time? I wish all the girls who do get released all the best, they have shown that they can perform at a higher level, and hopefully they will get offers from other clubs.

@JonBez comesock how about Daisy?

It will be if we end up creating Kop style stand like Dortmund, or Spurs, that will be minimum. Minimum ticket price now is £44 for an adult, then you add on average of food/drink people pay. It’s very much in the ballpark.

Aye this, the one Footyheadlines have on their Twitter account this morning, I’d be amazed if we get that collar, looks awful, and cheap tacky fake footy top like.
-
Yay for Klopp in making it so players are massively fucked after games that go past 100-110 minutes only a year after he complained about player fatigue and not having 5 subs.
-
Aye, they will be bring out loads of stuff. Apparently they are going to reproduce the classic away shirt, not just bring out a modern version, actually run it out again, complete with the Adidas branding. I know Leeds had branded trainers and they were nowhere near an elite club for Adidas. The club will be bringing out more branded products outside of Adidas. I wonder if Villa are or will be having similar marketing in Birmingham?

Aye, my mother in law has came across her, in fact I think one of her daughters even worked with her, and let’s just say that they thought that she could have done with some motivation at work. Everyone says the same, volunteered for Labour and managed to somehow be the lucky one to get picked to put her name forward for all the positions. She even did a visit to my lasses work one time, and my lass and her bosses agreed it was a waste of fucking time in her coming.
-
Aye not heard good things about her, but when I worked retail Kim would have been the PCC, so that’s your new North East Mayor for you.
-
I don’t know, I just know that the shirts are exempt.
-
They won’t send one out even if it is over £200.
-
I was watching one of those away days YouTube videos a little while back. He went to a team who are at about the same level as North Shields, he was able to pre-buy his match ticket and it was a digital one like we have with NUFC now, even on an iPhone. You go to North Shields and it’s cash only, and you don’t even get so much as a raffle ticket for your ticket anymore.

Football shirts are usually exempt from the discounts codes with Adidas. I was looking at doing that Adidas Run app to help with the cost of the price of the shirt, and found out that they are exempt.
-
Well they are sharing them on social media platforms, so they will be doing it for the monetisation.
-
Yeah, I mean Brighton is our first challenge and we shouldn’t be looking beyond that. However if you are looking at that Man Utd team from last night and in recent weeks, and possibly across the whole season, you would think if we can get Joelinton in midfield, then we should be able to dominate them.

Forge FC, the Canadian team I keep an eye on had the idea to offer schools the chance to apply for free tickets to see a match. They were hoping to do it for the last game of the season, but realised they should test the theory out first. So today they are playing in a Canadian Cup quarter final 1st leg against Montreal (the equivalent of the FA Cup) and asked for schools to apply for the free tickets. They expected to only receive 4,000-6,000 applications. They ended up receiving and giving out to all 11,000 applications. Included in their free entry they also get a meal and drink in the ground. On top of this everyone else who bought a ticket also receives a free meal and drink. The game kicked off at 11am local time so the kids could attend. Absolutely lovely gesture.

Yeah, both places are group stages, the Conference League though is a qualifier/play off round though. You would expect to overcome anyone you meet easily though.
-
Yeah same. Europa League is the more prestigious of the two, however the Conference League would represent a much more realistic chance of silverware. Another top 6 finish would be excellent though, the top 6 teams get a greater percentage of international TV revenue, so financially it would be great for us. I’d even snap your hand off at a Top 6 finish and getting the Conference League because of the cup result.
-
Yeah, it’s in our own hands, and in 2 weeks (maybe 3) we’ll know what we get. It’s just you always want to cross that line as soon as possible.
-
If only West Ham or Spurs had put in a performance against Chelsea and got something out of them, we would be siting pretty now.
-
As it stands, we have a +25 GD over them.
-
Have we ever done the league double over them? We have a chance to do it this season, and with it a treble over them for the season.
-
Aye, not a foul that in my opinion.
-
Would have disallowed it for him being offside in anyway.
-
So if Palace do win here, and let’s say we beat Brighton at the weekend, and likely safe to assume Arsenal will beat Man Utd. We could go into our game against them knowing that a draw would guarantee us to finish above them, and likely finish in a European position.
