  1. Currently it makes it the most expensive shirt, although we are yet to see what clubs will be selling theirs at next season. Four point of reference, our players edition last year was about £90. However being the first to charge that price is never good optics, like I said considering the image the club, and their supporters would like to portray.
  2. Liverpool are selling their new replica shirt at £80. Got to love that club with a link with its fans who are from a deprived area, and their socialist ideals.
  3. It’s not though, he’s doesn’t own anywhere near a majority of the club, and what he does own, aren’t even A class shares.

  5. Scored his first goal for Toronto FC early this morning.
  6. Yes. With amortisation, that would easily be able to buy us someone like David on a 5 year contract. It would pay for the 1st season of that amortisation straight away. You could argue that we will strengthen a rival, but we would easily replace him with that kind of money, and as we all know, he can’t do a full season.

I wonder if it’s worth trying to pinch their goalie as well. He’s supposed to be rated fairly highly, and I’m sure he’s also a Newcastle fan from North Shields.
  8. This. 5th is out of sight really. I’ll be happy with any European place.
  9. It’s Plymouth I’m worried about.

Says the fans of a club based in a city who have just voted for a right wing racist for mayor ahead of the morally conscious socialist they claim to be.
  11. Here is the new Celtic kit, I assume we’ll get the same design for our away shirt. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2023/12/celtic-24-25-home-kit.html
  12. Absolutely need Spurs to get something out of this game. Chelsea will overtake us at this rate.

Banner is going to have to be on the East stand instead of the Gallowgate.
  14. Aye, I tried one on, and it’s a bit tight, but alright, more of the athletic look, although how athletic you can look in a XXL is open for debate.
  15. I think Leeds will win the playoffs. I could see Ipswich losing them, especially if they played Norwich in them.

In all fairness to Ando this is what he said.

This, the quotes from the article seem to imply more of a rebuild than anything else.
  19. My aunt & uncle are coming over from Canada either in May, or in June. My aunty is from here, but my uncle has Scottish ancestry, so supports Scotland. So I thought I’d get them a shirt each, you know one of the previous ones on sale. No such luck. So for the first time ever I went on DH Gate, I thought ok, might get myself an England shirt whilst I’m at it. They came today, and although they have yet to pass a wash test, if I picked it up from JD Sports I wouldn’t question it. Fakes, if they really are fakes and not just nabbed off the production line, have came along way since those absolute horrendous efforts in Tunisia circa 2007.
  20. That’s fully them. They can’t wait to fuck off. So it’s ok for them to spend a shit load, but not others, ok for other clubs to be given a limit on spending, but not them.
  21. The new Arsenal home kit is fucking gash, the worst kit they have ever had, it’s Puma-esk levels of shit. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2023/11/adidas-arsenal-24-25-home-kit.html
  22. Easy. If the reports of the sponsorships being less regulated is correct, then we’ll end up signing deals that will take us to a level where we will only be hit by these new spending rules, as our 70% ration will be above this cap. At that point we essentially can spend what Man City etc can spend. So if we get hit with a fine, then Man City etc are all coming down with us. On top of this, it in incentivises the big clubs to work for bigger league deals and a more equal sharing of the broadcast/sponsorship income, as the more the worst club earns, the more they can spend. So we’ll end up seeing TV deals where we are just fucking rinsing whoever is paying for them, rather than being happy with Sky, and possibly go back to an equal revenue on the international rights, which is currently skewed in favour of the top 6 clubs. We might also see some sort of pot set aside for clubs to develop their stadiums to increase their matchday income, that in turn would also prevent the same people from adding infrastructure expenditure to what is no longer deductible.
