    St James' Park

It used to be quiet compared to the others. The one in Eldon Square was such a weird layout, and very cramped. I don’t know why, but they always seemed to have the stuff on sale there from the previous season, so you could always pick up a bargain.
  2. I mean they already do, but my point is that not only would they have the Sky 6 clubs willing to crossover, but potentially more clubs outside of them as well.
  3. I disagree. Not one of those clubs would have thought that it would go down well, the only surprise is that it was Man Utd fans out of all them who made the biggest uproar against it. They all knew how it would play out, but they planted the seed, and now they already have Liverpool fans, and to a lesser extent Arsenal fans screaming for it to happen. It will come back, and with the likes of Everton, Villa, and us all being fucked off by the changing of the rules to keep us down, amongst teams like Palace who have just realised that they can’t build their new stand, they just might have a few more owners and possibly fans who are receptive of it.

First things first, if we are taking that literally, then not only do you have the band stand in the way which would need to be relocated, and yes brick by brick, but you are also going to have to chop down a lot of trees that I’m sure someone won’t be happy about. On top of this, you will still be fairly close to the lake, which would be a bit of a disaster with 80k pissed up fans coming out of the ground. The best location would actually be just to the north of that, where it is basically just grassland. We would have to develop the park as well. The paths will be too narrow for all the fans, so would need to be widened, possibly all throughout the park. On top of this you would also need to have use of land just outside the stadium if you are wanting to host UEFA & FIFA events, alongside concerts etc. Depending on will, it is entirely doable in the location that I mentioned.
  5. Honestly, if push comes to shove the clubs will just vote for the ESL again, take the Premier League, and UEFA out of the equation. No real fan wants it, but the longer they keep going on with FFP, the more it will happen.

Have they honestly sacked the commentary off?

Even the commentator has sacked it off.

Leicester just playing with them here. Good job they are out of the playoff contention now, if they went up they would be spat straight back out.
  10. I’m not so sure. It’s took 3 years for his family to move up here, and he was apparently finding it a problem being away from them. I would doubt they would go to Saudi with him.

Yeah, we need to use the stadium more. That means trying to get more football events like we are doing with England, and the seniors World Cup, but also concerts etc. Spurs are showing everyone the way with NFL games.

Aye, that is 100% Toon Ed fantasy talk.
  13. There is an argument to be had that the Moore’s families did more damage to British society than other football club owner, and the irony is totally lost on the fans of both Liverpool, and Everton fans.
  14. Is there going to be another Premier League Summer Series?

    St James' Park

Nah, only chance of the Metro or like extending west is ironically, via St James.

Yes, but how is Leazes Terrace going to get transported to Beamish?

A light rail extension? Mate it’s a hundred yards or so, and only really relevant for fans going to/from the stadium via Central Station. resurface it, tidy it up, make it look nice, and that’s it done.
  18. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-prepare-adidas-return-28750490 Basically the club shop will close to be fully refurbished, a temporary one will open up in the car park opposite whilst work is being.

If we got the arena site you would think that the disused railway bridge that links Central Station to the site would be used, as it has been proposed for various schemes on the arena site in the past.

Actually the Freeman of the city own it, and the lease states that it can only be used for sporting use for the use of the people of the city.
  21. Insigne has scored one hell of a goal for Toronto.

A feasibility study wouldn’t necessarily have renderings, it may well just be a report saying that it could be done in such a way.
  23. Celtic have just been given an absolute Liverpool-esk penalty.

What the fuck? Do they know of anything outside of their own circle?
  25. Luton have made a proper go of it like, everyone thought they would Derby the season, but even if they go down, they can hold their heads high, it puts both Burnley, and Sheffield United’s efforts to shame.
