  1. I mean our match aside you snarky fuck. ?
  2. Aye, it would be an excellent move. I hope he gets a decent move for his final stage of his career to be honest, Luton could potentially be one. Him and Fraser leaving is shit for this seasons FM career, leaving nothing left to being in extra transfer funds.
  3. I heard he sleeps without a pillow, just lies there flat on the mattress.
  4. I actually think the most interesting match this weekend is a 3pm Saturday KO, that is Everton vs Wolves.
  5. Despite what people will tell you, he’s still an average Premier League CB. If he went to Turkey he would be immense.
  6. Don’t Brazilians if they watch other Leagues, generally watch and support Benfica?
  7. With next year meaning no drop downs from Champions into the Europa League, and no drops downs from the Europa League to the Conference League, I’d like to see a better allocation. I think the top leagues shouldn’t have a Conference League allocation, and it should be Europa League allocations, that way the smaller leagues effectively have the Conference League to themselves.
  8. Aye, saw the whole episode last week. It’s a shame because we had a few good fans who we have never seen before on, there was no real need to shoehorn him in. I’d rather have had Greg in as an NUST spokesman if they needed another fan view.
  9. Get in, the draw is at 5pm next Thursday. I’m going to ask for an early finish that day.
  10. I never knew that the PSG owners own 22% of Braga, and and with that, that they tried buy West Ham in January.
  11. No, it doesn’t determine the order of your games, that is done later in the day after the draw, and comes down to various factors, with a big one being stadium availability. I’m going to guess Northumbria Police wouldn’t want us playing at home the same midweek as Sunderland do, if they can help it.
  12. John Herdman, the Newcastle fan from Consett who is currently the Canadian national team manager is the front runner for the Toronto FC job.
  13. Only the elite teams get a long sleeved version. Teams like Ajax and Benfica who are not elite, do not get a long sleeved version.
  14. Aye, I’ve just checked the Arsenal shirt, and it’s excluded from the offers.
  15. I’ve just had a look at the T&C’s and it doesn’t say anything really. It just says not in conjunction with other vouchers & offers, 15% off full price items, and 5% off sale items. It will be interesting to see if Arsenal or Man Utd fans have had success doing this.
  16. For what it’s worth if you get the Adidas app, and get the Adidas running app, you can earn points, which you can redeem for money off vouchers. Even going for a walk is enough to earn points. It might be worth it for some people to spend they year collecting the points, and possibly getting money off the new shirts.
  17. Aye. I think at one point our away shirt was the same as Bugges’.
  18. He works for Talk Sport. He’s just another along a line of them who say things to ‘create conversation’ that may or may not align with their views. When you go on like that, you have no credibility.
  19. Yeah, no way it was a foul, I think we were fouled at the other end in the buildup as well. On top of that, I’m convinced that he was offside when the ball was played in.
  20. We will obviously have to wait to hear if we are becoming Adidas elite, but I doubt they would be offering us so much money without doing so.
  21. Man Utd have just signed a £90m a season deal with Adidas. You would think Man City and Liverpool will be getting those figures soon. So £60m would still leave us behind. I’m sure it’s been rumoured to be about £40m though, which would still mean we have left the rest of the Premier League clubs. In regards to elsewhere, Benfica are with Adidas, and gain good sales in Portugal and Latin America, their deal is only supposed to be worth about £5m per season. For what it’s worth, it will be massive news if we become an Adidas elite club. They only have 5 teams who are elite, not even Benfica, or Ajax are classed as elite. Being an elite club would mean that our shirts are sold in every single Adidas store in the world.
  22. Is that the lass from the Sunderland fans interview a few years back?
  23. I’m not sure what the situation is since Ashley left, but his SD stores used to have plenty of our stock in nationwide, especially in Doncaster. As you say though, Adidas will have a greater reach, have a decent app to be honest. I do doubt you will be able to go into JD store to buy a shirt nationwide though, JD only usually have football tops in for local teams, and even then they keep the selection small.
  24. Aye, there is one up at Gretna as well. They had an actual Adidas store briefly in Eldon Square.
  25. So are we all buying Adidas gift cards and topping them up each month between now and when they release a load of our merchandise?
