Is it just me who thinks anyone who makes jokes/reference to beheadings in the response to our clubs actions automatically lose the debate on morality?

I mean they must be doing something right, because it’s growing in popularity. Nashville for example have a 30k stadium and fill it well. This is a city that’s in the south, they have an NFL team within the city. It is where people go for country music. It should by definition be one of the places you do not suspect that they would take to football (soccer) well, yet there it is, with one of the best crowds in the league.

Some of the things I’ve heard from fathers about their daughters at previous work places was just shocking, and wholly inappropriate. There is a link between children growing up in households where relationships are broken, and/or inappropriate, and then getting into relationships as a adult with abusers.

I’m not so sure. Canada is a massive country, and the league is not developed yet enough, they are getting League 2/ National league crowds so far. I doubt that they will ever get to a point where the 2nd tier team can afford to fly from Vancouver to New Foundland for an away match. As for the MLS, the latest expansion team paid a $500m expansion fee. They will never allow relegation to threaten that sort of investment.

ASM was a great player for us under Bruce. He was often the difference between us and other teams down there, and was a huge reason as to why we stayed up under him. Under Howe thought we have been changing our system, and the way he plays, he doesn’t fit into it. That’s not to be used to beat him with, it’s just that we have moved on, and for Maxi the time was right for him to leave. I’m not sure he’s made the best move for his career, but he’s certainly probably made the best move for himself financially. He’ll be able to buy all the watches now.
