Aye, biggest myth in football the Anfield atmosphere.
-
If I was Spurs, I’d be spending it on good squad players like Hendrick, and Fraser.
-
Wasn’t it known that Levy was firstly towards to them, although being one of the biggest names against the takeover? I can’t see the Man City owners being frosty, they apparently helped our owners during the takeover process. It’s either Liverpool, or Man Utd.
-
It honestly depends on what’s on offer. Currently the club is tied in with Sodexo, but you would think that we will come out of that deal. Maybe then we can start offering more than just Carling, and a burnt pie. And honestly you are kind of wrong. Plenty of people both eat and drink in the stadium. The queues before the match and at half time are massive. If you need to get past to go to the toilets, you can’t. On top of this, not only is space and issue, but the make up of who goes to games is different now. A lot more women go to games, and we are probably at the point where we need to start thinking if the toilet facilities for women are enough? There is so much more to a new stadium/rebuild than just capacity.
-
For Europe, yes, for the Premier League, currently no. What we’ll see though is a PIF company funding the rebuild, and us leasing it, or buying the stadium back over a period of time.
-
We won’t be moving into something like that. We’ll end up putting temporary massive seating at either Kingston Park, or the International Stadium.
-
Exactly. This is something that is massively overlooked. NFL stadiums have close to or over 100 corporate boxes, plus other executive seating. They have huge concourses with different vendors, heck Spurs even have a Beavertown brewery. Have you seen the size of Spurs’ megastore? It makes ours look like cleaners cupboard.

Short of science making a TARDIS possible, you are not extending the east stand to anything like that.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

Haha, a tie that is closer to us than Aston Villa. -
I’d imagine it would be 8am.

Contrary to belief, he’s not a Newcastle fan, he’s an Aston Villa fan.
-
Aye, because that’s not going to go wrong with a dog going on the pitch.

So lost a home game against a newly promoted team, out of a cup competition at home to a team 2 divisions below them, manager looking like he’ll leave/be sacked, fans turning on the team, all whilst we haven’t kicked our season off yet.

PSV wearing all red should be a criminal offence.
-
Should have been Morgan Freeman, then he could have earned another freckle.
-
Narrated by Shearer?
-
It will be a SJP rebuild, for what it’s worth, I consider a Leazers Park stadium a SJP rebuild.

They got their number 1 target before last season even ended, then went out and paid double that for a player because we were after him. They did their business early, it’s just now that they have been linked with another player and it’s not coming off, so their fans are getting impatient.

Used to become amazing on FM.

Fucking stupid. There was never any problem until the likes of Klopp, Ten Hag, and Arteta starting harping on about it. You look at one of the games most often complained about, us against Arsenal at the Emirates. It was the Arsenal players going to ground under every fluky instead of passing the ball and moving it. If they did that, they would have beat us comfortably. They just wanted to put pressure on referees to give their clubs more stoppage time if they are not winning. It worked like a charm, it was essentially a vocal version of Fergie pointing to his watch all the time. It’s just another example of the big clubs complaining so much, that they get the rules changed on their behalf. The season before last it was all about the 5 substitutes, and how players are playing too much. They got that, now all of a sudden it’s not a problem because playing until the 112th minute is ok. Next season it will be something else. It won’t even stop time wasting. Clubs who do it will find new ways. We’ll likely go back to Pulis’ Stoke-esk ways of passing sideways, and keeping the ball in the corner flag. But it’s value for money, because you can watch that for 112 minutes. The thing is though, the referees have always had the power to stop the time wasting though. A yellow card, then a red card when it happens again. Again we go back to them not having the balls to actually do that. It’s the same with the rules on the dugout. Send the managers off. Yet again we are being scapegoated because Tindell is the most vocal of our coaching staff. So everyone is looking at him, instead of Arteta running half way to the corner flag, Klopp running to the penalty box etc. Red card them when they step out of line, yellow card them as soon as they cross the lines outside of the technical area, and don’t be afraid to give the 2nd yellow.

But then the people who work desk jobs, just get 2 go’s instead?

I just wanted to be a pedantic little shit there.
