The own Brown Ale, they might put that on at the site?

Excellent news, however it’s important to point out that they say it’s a midweek venue, and with it not actually being a part of SJP, they may struggle with being allowed to show Saturday 3pm KO’s.
  3. Same, I was thinking it’s one of their better ones.
  4. Aye, I just doubt a billionaire who is nearly 90 is going to be sent to prison.
  5. Rich people don’t go to jail.
  6. Hasn’t already been said that he’s a Qatari mouth piece? He’s done a lot of work for Qatar, even before the World Cup.
  7. Aye, but the reason they play in Europe should be quite clear to anyone who has passed GCSE Geography and Religious studies.
  8. I see that Matt Le Tosser is now focussing on selling CBD products on Twitter. Stuff that he says he was Skeptical over, obviously until he was offered a percentage of sales. Maybe we should offer him a few for every vaccines holdout get gets to take the vaccine, and every climate change denier he gets to believe in it and see if his views change. The transparent fucking cunt.
  9. Absolutely ruined by that JD logo.
  10. I blocked him as soon as he popped up.
  11. Be nice to be able to actually read the article to be fair
  12. It’s been rumoured for ages. I doubt it means they will buy a top club though. They have been rumoured to be investing in clubs in Portugal outside of the top 3/4, and rumoured to be investing in a French team who have at best yo-yo’d between Ligue 1/2.
  13. Ok, so that tattoo artist is one that I’ll never go to. The Willock one looks good until you get to his head, the Seahorse though man.
  14. With these signings, what the chance that they get promoted next season?
  15. Nike don’t make Sunderland’s kit. A Nike distributor for team wear kits based in Spennymoor does.
  16. Been trying for 2 days to change my ticket for one of the friendlies. Sometimes I have been on hold for over an hour only to be next in the queue and for then to immediately hang up on me. I rang corporate sales, waited less than a minute for them to answer, only to be told that they won’t help me and that I have to ring the regular box office.
  17. Would help if teams like Sheffield United and Luton start getting some players in to help them compete at staying up.
  18. Get voting for our home top to be the best for June on Footy headlines. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2023/07/best-football-kit-of-june-2023.html?m=1
  19. He’s a product of his time before social media where fans had access to journalists with information outside of their club. If we were back in the days of buying the Chronicle to look at news via the back page, then he was great. He could give rumours all the time and there is enough time difference between 1 article and the next for ‘things to change’. Now he can be called out for what he says instantly.

    Loris Karius

Because he’s on a fair wage still, and he is one of the few sellable assets we have who we can sell without weakening our 1st team. He also doesn’t want to be here, as is evident when he went to Man Utd to be number 2 there, and before that was in front of the TV cameras asking his agent to get him a move out of the club.
  21. They have been banned for historic match fixing offences.
  22. It looks like Juventus will take a voluntary European ban for 1 season. Fiorentina will take their place in the Europa Conference League, and despite them reaching the final last season, and Juventus being scheduled to be seeded, they will miss out on being seeded, which will take Aston Villa from the unseeded section, to the seeded bracket. Athletic Bilbao are also expected to take Osasuna’s place, although whichever club does take Spains allocated space, would be unseeded.

Sunderland is weird. There is a place not far outside the city centre where you have amazing Georgian architecture homes and some great 30’s style semi-detached homes. If they were along Tynemouth people would be in awe of them. The FSA actually have their offices there. Then you cross Mobray road and you are in a complete fucking shit hole. Seaburn, again is nice, never actually visited the place but had to drive through and do work around there. The river area is getting getting a lot of attention. New hotels, offices, a new car park, and they are building a new bridge over to the SOL, which it’s area has some decent plans for. Next to the new bridge they are on about building one of the UK’s largest recording/filming studios. You go to the shopping area though and it makes Shields Road in Byker look like it has something going for it. Go to what they call the East End and again it’s a tip. Recently someone invested a lot of money and time turning an old pub into a curry house. They obviously wanted to do it well, sings actually looked welcoming etc. They must have spent double the amount of time doing work on the building than it actually being open, and now the building is back on the market with all the windows (which they had just turned to double glazing) have all been smashed in. It’s quite apt because it alludes to Sunderland actually adhering to the broken window hypothesis. ‘Windows around here are smashed so I’ll smash more.’ ‘The Metro service we get doesn’t go to where we need it too, and isn’t reliable, so I’ll smash the fucking thing.’ It’s obviously not just Sunderland that adhere’s to that mentality, but that mentality is quite rampant in areas of Sunderland. Far too many people there have the thought process that for Sunderland to succeed, Newcastle has to fail. There is some of that mentality in some our muppets, but over there it largely does appear to more apparent. As it happens though I actually think that a lot of people who live in Sunderland and it’s suburbs are more realistic and less hostile towards Geordies, than the Sunderland fans who identify as mackems who are from places like Washington and South Tyneside.
