They fly out of Newcastle, they sponsor the air traffic control tower, sponsor Durham Cricket Club, and have even sponsored a Metro train. I know quite a few years ago, before we got Fun88 they were in talks but their deal with Arsenal at the time meant they couldn’t sponsor another English club. They have got a new deal with Arsenal since, I wonder if that allows for them to sponsor us?

Honestly don’t get the clamour for other brands either. Nike can produce good stuff, but can produce some utter shit as well. Non of Brightons Nike kits have been anything I’d be happy with. Adidas rarely produce amazing stuff these days, heck I’m watching Atlanta right now and Adidas have a solid colour on the back of their shirt.

I actually like them, they are a historic club and shouldn’t be where they are. I’d much rather have them in the Premier League over say Bournemouth, or Fulham. I hope they win the play offs to be honest. The way their fans took it so personally about the safety concerns is weird though. Their stadium does need improving, you can’t not acknowledge that. The sooner they get back towards the Premier League, the sooner they will be able to do just that.

Blyth absolutely need to have a clear out and change direction. Constantly circling the drain and doing last minute survivals isn’t going to make them progress and will ultimately just lead to relegation. When I was younger they used to be the biggest non-league team in the area, possibly Gateshead aside, but it seemed like more people followed Blyth, but that could just be because I’ve lived in North Tyneside nearly all my life.
