This has been coming. We don’t perform against anyone other than the top 6 clubs. We turn up and expect to win. There is no excuse from either the players or the coaching staff. They will go up against Bilbao on Wednesday and show everyone what they can do, same against Spurs in midweek, and Benfica the week before. Give us Brighton, Fulham, and West Ham and we give you the worst performances you can imagine.

Given was probably at one time the best keeper in the Premier League at shot stopping, maybe Seaman asked he was the best. I’d say the best in the world but you had Kahn, Buffon, and Casillas all playing at the same time. Given could be subjected to a 1 on 1 10 times a match and win it 9 times out of 10. His biggest flaw was his in-ability to come off his line to gather the ball from corners and free-kicks. As a shot stopper though, there were few better than him.

The kids just run out in front of the players, Adam P’s friends were the main culprits a few years back and should have been when the club clamped down on it all. I’d image now we have loads who are just eBay selling stuff as well who are desperate to the signatures. As I say, today we are doing work there, us alone is going to be a minimum of 10 wagons today on top of everyone else doing work there.
