Owner maybe trying to release some funds for his Everton takeover. Roma themselves are trying to build a new stadium. Maybe they have decided to cut their losses?
  2. This. I also think it will be difficult if not impossible to make them the exact same one these days. Machines will be different, even materials will be different. If you are walking down the street with it on, no one will notice any of the difference. If you are getting it put in a museum, then obviously someone with a magnifying glass is going to be able to spot it straight away.

If they do come up, I wonder if their owner will try to cash in on them or if he really is in for the long run. If they don’t come up, would that be 10 years outside of the Premier League for them?
  4. This. I said before injury time was added that it would be about 10 minutes. Botman was down for 2 minutes as stoppage time started.
  5. Well yeah, but I mean in general play. No real opportunities for either team. It’s not the end to end high scoring game I thought it might be.

I’m going to guess that it will be an obligation to buy if they get promoted.
  7. This has been a fairly tame match.
  8. I do agree with the comments that our stripes should go all the way up and over. I’m not sure if it is just the fact that the sponsor is an oval instead of horizontal wording, but it does look a bit tighter than what I thought it would be like. Rob Lee could probably have done with a size up.
  9. They won’t know. Their priority will be to treat him, I doubt even the Spurs’ bench will know too much yet.

We’ll always be under the ‘hangover from our owners’ even if we won something after they left. I think I could live with it, especially when the biggest criticism will be from a club who once lost the playoff final, but we’re still promoted, and have a beach ball listed as a match winning goal scorer against Liverpool.
  11. Taking out our own personal closeness to it, a final consisting of us and Spurs is better for football, however Spurs last won a trophy (ironically this one) in 2008. It’s trophy doubt that any club outside of the top 6 would likely prefer to have.
  12. Nah, Liverpool will take apart their high line.
  13. Anything out of the event yet about quality, shirt sizes etc?
  14. Nah. To be honest, we have played Liverpool once already this season, and we could have won that game. When I watch them, they are not all that impressive even if their run of results have been. I think on our day, we could beat either of them. From a prospect of chances, you probably want to play Spurs, in saying that, my lasses dad is a Spurs fan, and I couldn’t be doing with him mocking if they beat us.
  15. Why would I want to watch someone watch a match when I could watch the match? If I have both on, I’m obviously not concentrating that much into the match. I get the impression that for a lot of fans, especially younger fans, it’s more about looking like you are a fan, and acting like you are, than actually being a fan. Also, how do so many of these super fans who are U.K. based get away with doing it on Saturday 3pm KO’s? Arsenal fans TV had a whole studio with fake stands in it where they watched games live, including Saturday 3pm KO’s.
  16. For what it’s worth, I had a double dream last night. I dreamt that we drew 0-0 with Arsenal in the 2nd leg, then played Liverpool in the final with the game being rather like last nights in how it panned out, and also with the 2-0 scoreline, with a goal in each half. I was then celebrating in a pub in Amble, and Shearer was there and I celebrated with him. I realised at this point that it was a dream, but anyway I went back to sleep and once again dreamt the exact same thing, except without meeting Shearer in a pub celebrating afterwards.
  17. If Spurs don’t win tonight, then it’s over. I can’t see Spurs going to Anfield and either getting a win after a draw, or overturning a defeat.

Especially when a year ago they played us, got beat, and we didn’t really get out of 2nd gear.
  19. Imagine if Howe said ‘Aye, he’s leaving and it’s good for the club that he does’.

Apparently he turned down a move to Real Madrid earlier in his career. I think his move to Dortmund not fully working out has put him off just jumping to bigger names clubs. I think he needs the right environment around him to succeed, and going to Arsenal or elsewhere may not be beneficial to him.
  21. Yeah me too. It seems that it’s a ticketed event only tonight.
  22. You should be able to get one today in store.
  23. I’ve gone XXL, rather baggy than too small.
  24. In store for Mag+ members only. In store for everyone from tomorrow, depending on stock.
