  1. Arthur Blank, Atlanta United owner has committed to keeping the low priced kiosk at Atlanta’s stadium for the World Cup. It’s possible to get a full meal plus a refillable Coca Cola (because it’s Atlanta) drink in a souvenir cup for $12. Atlanta local authorities are also keeping the local train fares at $2.50 each way, and affordable parking.
  2. Rules only exist in some European countries, there is no U.K. rule. Heineken are not going to sponsor us to have Brown Ale on our shirts though.
  3. We’ll still be waiting for Premier League approval over a new sponsor deal, probably applied for it a year ago.
  4. West Ham going down would have been pretty funny if Spurs were not an option, although I agree it poses more of an existential threat to them then it does to Spurs. I’ve never really believed that Spurs would go down, I’ve always thought that if need be, there would be a few dodgy decisions happening. It seems like West Ham are just going to run out of steam though.
  5. Man City are under investigation for fucking off the FFP rules that were designed to rein them in and have strangled us. The fact that we have our own fans saying 115 to them, as well as the likes of Everton and Forest fans who got fucked by the same rules is beyond me. I hope they get off with every single charge and the Premier League are left with the estimated £200m legal bill.
  6. Need West Ham to do a double fuck of North London by beating Arsenal. Hopefully Leeds do their bit against Spurs and the pendulum swings back.
  7. Honestly think they will slip up against West Ham at the weekend. West Ham need the points.
  8. Long way to go, but if you beat Motherwell, then anything but a Celtic win in the Old Firm derby a day later and you have a chance of winning it a week later. Motherwell will be a tough game though.
  9. Aye mate, hilarious that they would fail after the first time in over 40 years a team has challenged the Old Firm late into the season, only doing so because of the resources of a co-owner who owns a Premier League club amongst other teams. I guess it’s also fucking hilarious that Leicester have been fucked over by the Premier League and EFL because they dared to fluke their title win and are now going to languish in League One with a real threat to their existence.
  10. This has nothing to do with Peterborough’s owner being a massive Liverpool fan, nothing at all.
  11. Looked well on. His feet were behind the furthest back foot of who played the ball. No way he would lean over that distance, plus the players anatomy, and the other side of the ball.

70k seater stadium allegedly been leaked on a LinkdIn profile. https://www.reddit.com/r/NewcastleUnited/s/Iy2nAPefsk
  13. Why’s he shot from that position?
  14. Can only hope Villa fluke a goal, and Spurs collapse.
  15. Why is Emery dumbfounded? He’s the one who picked the fucking B team.
  16. If this performance from Villa was served up by us, I’d be fucking furious.
  17. They’ve deserved that. Villa have been poor.

I wouldn’t say that I quite like it, all I’m saying it’s nowhere near as bad as people make out.

The view isn’t bad though. The fact is you actually get a better view of what’s going on than elsewhere in the stadium, I also find it easier to see who’s in which position etc. I can even sit in level 7 and know if the ball has went out of play at the opposite side of the pitch, or if the ball has crossed the goal line. That’s largely part of the argument. You come to Newcastle and you can drive if you want too, or you can get the train in and walk to the stadium, or if need be fly in and be a 20 minute ride from the Metro station to SJP. Others have already mentioned about the bars and restaurants, that bloke who wrote that tweet is probably still in his hotel room ready to make use of a long weekend in Newcastle because it’s a great place to double up as a weekend away as well as the football, yet cunts like him will be quick to slate the away end because he’s walked up some steps. He’s already backtracking and saying the view is great.

It’s not as bad as people make out though, especially away fans. I recent weeks I’ve seen Everton fans having a go at our away end, the absolute cheek of it when last season they were still selling away tickets with a letterbox view, a support beam in the way, oh and a wooden seat that reshaped your lumbar support. We then have away fans complaining about our away end because they have had to walk up a few steps because they couldn’t be fucked to wait for the lift. Guaranteed that cunt who made that tweet will be spending £30 a month on a gym membership so he can use the fucking stair master as well.

It’s done that way because to change them to be closer to the pitch would require them to use the turnstiles on the inner circle of SJP, which means crossing over with home fans. They’ll be the first to complain about having to walk through home fans on the way out if they got a bad result and couldn’t handle it. As for the easy parking at retail park stadiums, you find that most of them have parking restrictions preventing fans from parking there, because despite the likes of Tesco and Primark wanting a stadium in their site so it cost them less to build their own stores, they don’t actually want football fans using their car parks.
  22. He just seems fake. Born and largely raised in Yorkshire, moved out of Suffolk as soon as he could to both LA, and London, privately educated, been known to wear Norwich shirts before he became famous.
