  1. Massive GD boost for Forest as well. Micky Grey started the night saying Le Bris should be manager next season, to now questioning him, he didn’t even make it to half time.
  2. Fucking hell, at work listening to it on the radio, went away for a few minutes and come back to 4-0.
  3. They played Stockport County, Doncaster, Millwall, then Fulham to get to the semi’s. In the final they should have been a man down and their keeper saved a penalty.

70’s supermarkets want their sign back.
  5. https://apple.news/AF2kX4D5vTqW1bo54A3F49g Update confirming purchase of Woolsington Hall for the new training ground is expected to be shown in Companies House immently.
  6. Yeah. If we went with the American model, then we will need to accept that either the Premier League is a closed league thats at risk of other leagues taking over it in time, or that we move to the ESL. Salary caps and the hard spent limit aren’t happening without it.
  7. If you do go down, and I still very much doubt that you will, if you do, you’ll not need to do much to come back up. Your income alone is enough to buy 2 teams good enough to win the Championship, so much so to the extent that I think you’ll stand a good chance of getting record points.
  8. Alright, let’s look at Bournemouth, our last opponent. Last summer they sold all their big name players, every single one of them, except for a long term injured Kluivert. Their manager is leaving because he’ll face the same this summer, regardless of them achieving European football or not, and because there are clubs now after him who match his own ambition. Now let’s go to Palace. They fluked their way to an FA Cup win last season. They have sold a few of their best players in the summer, with the rest up for sale this summer. Their manager is leaving because much like Iraola at Bournemouth, the club isn’t matching his ambitions. Shall we try Brighton? You know that club who sells everyone to. Chelsea when they come calling, including their manager? The team who played Chelsea last night, and their fans couldn’t be bothered to turn up.
  9. They’ll eventually sell us for a profit, but in doing so they’ll have created a team that tries to compete, and hopefully does.
  10. The Premier League from the very start was designed to do exactly this. Arsenal, Man Utd, Spurs, Liverpool, and Everton all thought that they had the right to more money. Initially they didn’t even want relegation, they literally wanted a split from English football. People forget that they were forced to accept relegation even back then. They never anticipated a Chelsea happening, then when it did they never anticipated anyone having any more money again, then Man City happened. They both quickly established fanbases which meant there were more eyes on the league, which meant it was impossible to stop them. 3 years before our takeover came to light, it had been discussed in Premier League meetings how state nations, namely Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait were all looking at buying Premier League clubs. They thought it was a bid for Man Utd, Arsenal, or Spurs to either take them back where they believe they belong, or to give Spurs that last boost that they needed. Spurs were even in takeover discussions with PIF before they opted for us. They never thought that they would buy us instead, hence why there was a scramble to change the rules afterwards. If you notice, SCR has changed the rules to their benefit again, now infrastructure spending in total (including interest on loans) is exempt. You know why this is done don’t you? It’s because Man Utd want to spend £2bn or more on a new fuck off monster of a stadium. Arsenal want to add another 20k seats, will pay a fortune to do so (more than the Emirates cost in the first place), and need to pay the TFL to expand 3 nearby stations. Chelsea are scrambling to find a solution for a new stadium and that’s going to cost them a fucking fortune. Liverpool sooner or later will need a new stadium or an Anfield rebuild. None of them have owners who will put their hands in their pockets to pay for it themselves, so they need to have that ability for these clubs to loan the money.
  11. No, but more similarly to the point I was making, I don’t think we should get in the Champions League (or Europe) and just be ‘Ok, let’s just be happy we got here, but let’s vote in a way that keeps us getting into Europe without us having to do much’.
  12. Clubs who exist to make their owners money. No ambition to challenge. Happy to vote in rules that prevent them from challenging, but keeps them from letting their arses fall out. No real fanbases, in areas where there were up until quite recently more fans of clubs like Man Utd, Liverpool, and Arsenal than those clubs.
  13. Awww shame. I hope they fuck off back down the leagues where they belong. The sooner clubs like Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford, and Crystal Palace are booted out, the fucking better.
  14. Their next 2 league games, Burnley and Spurs.
  15. I just think that there is a twist coming, Ipswich turned their poor initial form around and have seemingly been up there for ages, but have dropped in recent weeks. Everyone think it maybe Southampton as they have came from nowhere, but I think Millwall have just went about their business and no one has noticed. Ipswich strike me as the team that should have went up, had it in their hands, messed up, got given a 2nd chance in the play offs and still messed it up.
  16. Hartlepool were one of the teams they were looking at before opting for Wrexham. Imagine if we were discussing Hartlepool being promoted to the Premier League.
  17. I still think Ipswich will fuck it up, and Millwall will come up.
  18. Charlton are keeping them in with a chance as it stands.
  19. ‘You’re free to raise ticket prices yourself for much needed money when the big boys with the big names come around. No not for the big 6 fans, Twenty’s plenty remember?’
  20. Yes because it matters for when we next qualify.
  21. The current Strasbourg manager is shaking in his boots now.
  22. Can we get back to Chelsea’s losses and how Man Utd and Spurs both have debts of over £1bn on their books please?
  23. Here, Adidas, can we have a word?
  24. Leicester winning 2–1.
