  1. strikers always seem to cost a fortune too (Michu excluded) i mean Benteke is often seen as a bargain and he was £9million. so for our only premiership quality striker we should be looking at a lot more than £15 million.

    Tom Ince

Would be a great buy for anyone, looks like a great prospect.
  3. Aye, I think a lot of people have unfairly written him off. Pardew included too probably.

Both are shit holes, both will see the players live in nearby nicer areas.
  5. How so? At least Monaco have some sort of history to them, while Man City, Chelsea and PSG were big(ish) teams before hand anyway. While Anzhi are paying big money so their players can live and train in Moscow and just fly in to Makhachkala for their games (a distance equivilant to our players living and training in Florence) while being surrounded by large amounts of security.
  6. I'd say Anzhi are the worst tbh.

  8. I wish people would gloat to us about us not winning the biggest competition in Europe
  9. that bloke just casually clapping the goal to win you the biggest trophy in europe in the 88th man.
  10. So put into context it isn't really that negative, fair enough. What was the full quote around 6ft 4" players? "We need to have more dominance in that area and it's all well and good saying the set play problem is down to tactics, delivery or whatever. Ultimately you need 6-foot-4 in this division to go and head it in or at least get first contact on it to head it across the box and we've not had that all year." Even if i gave him the benefit of the doubt and allowed him this excuse, why is he then getting us to attempt them every time we get a free kick anywhere close to the half way line.
  11. We may have lost them all but the results and performances weren't that bad. I hope your referring to the first three games mentioned there and not the last three...
  12. saw the Cheltenham FC's bus drive past me earlier if that counts...
  13. Kolo toure to Liverpool apparently.
  14. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/mother-duck-ducklings-visit-newcastle-3869259 Hearing about the Toon’s away kit release, this web-footed fan waddled her Tyne army straight to the checkout. Beating most paying fans, Mrs Duck and her fluffy squad arrived at the club shop in the city centre minutes after Newcastle United’s latest strip went on sale. She was topped only by Toon supporter Andrew Dixon who was first in store to buy the two-tone blue shirt emblazoned with the logo of sponsors Wonga.com. Folk were left amused as they watched the flock carefully cross a road, enter the store and browse around for a few minutes before leaving. Staff from the shop called the RSPCA as a precaution to make sure the birds were unharmed. However, this is not the first time a flock of ducks have paid a visit to the Toon sto It is understood a group of birds made a similar appearance at a previous kit launch and left after inspecting the new strips. The feathered creatures have been turning heads all week in the city centre and members of the public have been reporting sightings on social networking site Twitter. Last Friday, one woman said: “What on earth are ducks doing waddling round Newcastle centre?” On Wednesday, one shopper added: “There are two ducks just casually walking round Newcastle. Suppose it is wet enough.” And on Thursday, Diana Kaye Florist tweeted: “Yesterday ducks on Northumberland Street, Newcastle, plodding in the rain outside our store and today sunshine.”
  15. Hope this stays 1-1. Love a good penalty shoot out.
