makes keegan's "i would love it" speach very tame.
-
dont think i'd risk him if hes only just started training, stick him on the bench imo
-
glen johnson has been the only defender i'v been impressed with in the first 25 mins, terrys passings looked really poor.
-
remember scot parker running the entire length of the pitch against charlton, along with the obviouse ones.

what a twat.

johnson's definatly a liability, if your looking at winning any major competition, you need 11 players who are capable of beating world class teams every day, he certainly is not in that catagory. casillas best keeper in the world? fair enough he's pretty solid, but hes never really stood out as being brilliant for me.

the place where we might actually be better than spain is in defence, and even though i dont rate the spanish keepers their still much better than our lot.

dose anybody know how many people are actually part of NUSC?

£20m is more than romantic bullshit (provided the businesses involved follow through with it). i hate to point out, but thats £80 million short, would like to see how they would manage that. never gunna happen.

winning is fun and all, but the fact that 40 thousand every week are turning up to watch a club in an awful state is something to be proud of.

not that your holding a grudge

with jonas back, would like to think our midfield will be effective, butt i'm very doubtful ( spelling mistake fully intentional)

the first thing i noticed tonight was butt wandering off into the centre off the pitch when he seemed to be meant to be on the left, then nolan seemed to be wandering inside when he was meant to be on the left, then smith seemed to wander inside when he was on the left. was delighted when jonas came on, finally giving us something on the wing and made jose look alot more secure at the back and efficient going forward. -
really good idea, shame it'll never happen. not enough people at home sing at all to get this institutionalised and really its the sort of thing you'd need most of the cword doing, like YNWA as you mentioned.

would start with harewood, not entirely sure carrol should be above ranger in the pecking order, he looks really talented while i get the feeling carrol has more poor moments than good moments, and gets liked simply because of the effort he puts in.
-
not that he'd get a game anyway tbf

i do feel like the east stand needs a proper name, and i guess at the moment the way the club would see it is that a bobby robson stand would be popular, but i agree with the OP, their are more people who deserve a stand and more fitting memorials to bobby than a stand

on average, as a percentage their currently 17th in the premiership (79.7%), but as a number, their currently 6th behind the big 5 (39094) , so compared to the rest of the league its good. but with newcastle's average being 40640 even with our current situation, i gues its more that were just used to 'big' crowds than sunderland's attendances are small....
